For the money, very nice weight and softness to the fabric. I wasn’t looking for total blackout, just slight light dimming which it did. I still can tell when it’s morning as I do like having natural light in my room. Now the color isn’t pure cool white as I was hoping for. I have another set of white velvet curtains from another company that is just that. These next to them were yellowish. Even prewashed the curtains with cool white clothing and it was very obvious. I am willing to deal with the color as it’s far away from the other set that it doesn’t clash too much. I highly recommend curtain rings if you really want clean, crisp pleating. After washing I did hang them up straight on the rod which gave me the first image look. Nice to do a quick job but it needed to be steamed and trained. The rest of the images are after steaming and clipping the pleats and making sure they stay in that position all day so everytime I leave them open they will automatically look the same. Also I use two packs (4 panels) on this curtain rod to give a fuller look opened and closed. My window is about 48” and have my rod extended about 6-8” on both sides of the window. I personally hate when curtains block any part of the window when opened. Highly recommend this trick if you are like me. All in all pretty good quality for the price. Definitely iron or steamed them so they aren’t a wrinkled mess hanging up. And invest in some cheap curtain clips for nice pleating and easier open/closing of the curtains on the rod. ... show more

These are not navy blue more of a blue gray to me . Navy is dark and these are not dark. I'll keep them to avoid the hassle of returning them but they are not what I wanted. Quality is ok. Not lined but they are going on a small window and gathered so they will work.

As you can see, I’m not quite finished setting up the whole curtain scheme like intended but these are the best addition so far! I have a very 70s living room theme & they’re perfect for it. I have them next to semi sheer curtains & as you can see the semi sheer are more light filtering & the gold (true to color) are more like privacy/borderline blackout but not quite. i love that they’re super light weight but still give me the privacy I was looking for! I get compliments on them from everyone who comes in. Only regret is not getting 2 sets! ... show more

I am very happy with these curtains! I ended up using these all around my house in green, navy blue, white and gold. The material looks and feels velvety, but not too heavy! They block a fair amount of light as well. Overall they are cozy and add just the right amount of luxury!! The only reason I give 4 stars is because the hem lines at the bottom don’t seem 100% even (you can’t tell when they hang near the floor), and the white curtains had some dirt stains in them. However, the seller had good customer service to fix the stain issue - they offered me a 50% discount on the stained curtains. ... show more

Absolutely beautiful in person! I did a lot of research on velvet style curtains for our daughters nursery, so I was a little hesitate to get some and not like them. I bought these to add a luxe, moody vibe to my bedroom. I've had them for a while now, and I really like them. The color initially wasn't quite what I wanted, but I got used to it. They don't feel super heavy, but they block a lot of light and heat. I do wish they were a little thicker so they would drape more. It would be nice if they had a lining because the backside does get a little pilly with use. But for the price, you can't beat them. ... show more
