Assembly was straightforward and all the parts were well packed and in perfect condition. Clear instructions. Plan on spending about two hours. Nice exterior finish and looks to be solidly built. Heat output is good, but like any device where the heater is on top, there is a definite gradient in how warm you feel based on how close you are to the heat source.     • Received in good packaging and quick ship, but it does not work.
I have done everything to check and verify that things should work correctly, including replacing the regulator for the propane gas connection, but the burners will not light. I get an electric spark. No response on how to return the item or get replacement parts. I guess I will just throw it away and lose my $279. ... show more

Takes two to assemble, which was disclosed. Came missing the sand bladder and somewhat dented. Called for the missing part and received it a while later. Was told we should think about keeping the dented unit b/c they are in short supply. For $300 plus, I'd like to receive the whole heater, without a dent. ... show more

    • Very Cheaply built
I have already had to make modifications to the product to stabilize it. The pilot light does not work. I have to wait at least 15-20 minutes for the propane to make it up to the burner before I can get the thing to start. I will deal with it, but I suspect I will have to make numerous repairs throughout the life of it. Definitely not worth what I paid for it. ... show more

    • Great Heater, but a gas hog!
Bought this heater for hubby for Christmas. Here it is January 14th and we have gone through 8 propane tanks! He uses it to smoke his cigars, and for our friends that are smokers. It is pricey for the propane, but it does a great job at warming up our big ole' garage!!

My husband and I bought this heater as a Christmas present to ourselves. When we finally set it up we noticed a small part was missing. The lock to the propane door compartment. Without it, the door hangs out and it is hard to keep closed which is important ( we have small kids ) I called customer service twice. They keep saying this part is out of stock. I am unable to find anything that can fit to close the door. This is a safety issue. When an item is missing a part, it should not be sent to customers. I need my part. ... show more

This was damaged and true to the description, my son-in-law had to "hammer" out the bent piece and fix some rivets. I told him to return it but he had already worked on it before I was told of the damage. The box/packaging was fine.
