I consider myself fortunate. The box was roughed up a bit but the contents were in good shape. The thickness and density of the double wall construction should be upgraded. The quality of the bicycle is quite good. The fit and finish are also very good. I didn't see any damage while putting it together. It was reasonably easy to put together. The preload on the front axel was excessive and need to be reduced. The spreader on the front forks was an excellent way to protect the forks. I can recommend this to others seeking a reasonably priced bicycle. ... show more

I bought two of these and they are very bad quality, wheels are not round. Inner tubes busted. Packaging was fine. Don't expect to find parts or product support.

My daughter wanted this bike. When it was delivered via Amazon the side of the box was smashed and the front wheel was bent. There was no way it could be used. Whenever we turned the wheel the brake stopped it without ever pressing on it from the handle. I contacted Hiland (it was the mint green bike and therefore not from Amazon) and they confirmed that it indeed need replaced. I requested it via Amazon but somehow my replacement was cancelled. Not sure what happened but Hiland sent me a new bike via another carrier. This bike was perfect. I was happy to know that they valued good customer service and definitely took care of me. My daughter is so happy. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again. ... show more

Purchased bike and arrived timely. Front tire had rack to it/did not ride smooth and contacted customer service. Replied within 24h and began process for getting new tire and due to the fact it would take some time in shipping they offered to send new bike which would be much more timely. My bike came with all the parts and nothing seemed to be warped as per so many of the comments. I will say that the instructions were difficult to read, but anyone who has taken "bicycle 101" can probably put it together anyway. I did struggle with the front brakes and had to "Youtube" how to tighten them, but that was an easy fix. The one thing that I don't like is that the handlebars are a bit low for where the seat needs to be. My grandson is tall for his age (10 y.o. @ 4'11") and he is somewhat slumped over while riding. In fact, the first thing he asked me was that I lower the seat some. So far, I'm about 50/50 on this bike for what I paid. ... show more
