Update (8/1/21): Still going strong. Adding pics of the included manual. Summary: Due to COVID closure, we cancelled the gym membership, and bought an exercise bicycle last summer. We considered other options like free weights and a bench. Analysis of Alternatives: 1) The wife and I discussed a couple of exercise routines options: a) gym membership, b) free weights and bench, and c) this GR8FLEX system. With COVID restrictions, the gym because less cost effective with the reduced services offered. The free weight and bench option were just as expensive, and then you have the added need to store them. We had previously bought the exercise bike below last summer. We decided on this GR8FLEX system because it allows for a variety of levels of training (with the addition of rubber bands, as well as increasing the incline on the platform). One of the biggest driving factors is the lifetime warranty (register within 10 days, so don't delay). Observations: 1) Arrives well protected, 2) setup is pretty straight forward, 3) some reviews said the instructions were missing, but we received a printed copy. Recommendations: This will need a pretty decent size area, especially if you want to leave it out (unfolded). Pros: Comprehensive variety of exercises; lifetime warranty; folds for storage. Cons: Large foot print; the elastic bands which holds the pins are thin and weak, will be replacing them with something longer lasting. Conclusion: At $588 rating this 5-stars, and highly recommended. The GR8FLEX machine is the perfect addition for in home training! The attachments that are included make it very easy to get a full body workout in a short amount of time. Being 6’2” and over 200 lbs, I was concerned I may not fit this machine but I have no problems using every attachment with a full range of motion. Prior to purchasing I read all of the reviews and I would like to address some of the negative comments: Yes, mine came with some minor paint scratches and small discoloration on the pad. The discoloration came off with a magic eraser and the paint chips do not bother me. It is gym equipment, not art. Yes, it makes noise while in use. Again, it is gym equipment, I would not expect it to be silent. Yes, the back pad does not roll perfectly smooth. No other total gym I’ve ever owned rolls any better than this one. Yes, it is difficult to move around because it is heavy. I spent about $8 on parts and added wheels to the tower base. When it’s folded up you can lean it back and easily roll it around. (See photo) Might be a good idea for GR8FLEX to add to future units. Overall I find it to be a solid piece of equipment that I look forward to using for a long time. Finally, the customer service is amazing. Had an issue with one of the resistance bands and they had it replaced in a couple of days. I highly recommend the GR8FLEX gym! ... show more

    • Overall, I don't think you can beat this machine for the price.
I've only had this a week or so so I will update if anything changes. When I got it, it had a few scratches but nothing major and not enough to send it back. The paint does scratch fairly easily though, but I had a feeling that would happen when I ordered it. It wasn't a deal breaker for me, given all the other pluses. Pros: This thing is VERY sturdy and the tower is the largest and tallest one I've seen other than the very top of the line Total Gym model, which is well over $3000. The glideboard is also a little wider and longer, which is nice because I'm always worried about my hair getting caught when lying down. The number and variety of attachments are great, and I love that they come with the pins connected to them so I don't have to worry about losing them. The best thing about it though, imho, is the squat stand. I almost bought that alone for my Total Gym Supra but by the time I bought all the other things I wanted it made more sense just to get the new machine. I can now do squats without my knees going past my toes and it's just much more comfortable. Cons: Doesn't come with instructions, but my questions were answered via email by the next day. The website is also very bare bones, which kind of concerned me, but I assume it's because this is a new product and they are getting it up and running. Gliding also feels "wavy" toward the bottom but it's not bad. I wonder if replacing the wheels might fix it but for now I'm not really worried about it. So far, the only other real con is that I had a very hard time getting the pins in when using the wing attachment at the bottom of the gym because the metal pieces that the resistance bands hook onto were in the way. Overall, I don't think you can beat this machine for the price. The attachments alone make it a great deal, and the machine itself seems to be well made. ... show more
