Loaded up the MacBook and inserted the SD card and doesn’t do a thing, definitely not worth the price now I got a paperweight, to hot out to deal with returning, will order different one that works and not this one, buyer beware you been warned…was trying to view some drone footage, couldn’t even get pictures to load and yes it’s a brand new MacBook as well. Update The seller did reach out and make things right, I would have given a 5 star but the product still didn’t work for me because I chose to not waste any more Time with this one product and so that’s that, great customer service. Update again, First off I’m new to MacBooks so wasn’t fully informed of some settings I needed to adjust to make this work, and it now works perfectly, I have sne message to seller letting them know that it’s my fault and there product is great. This 8-in-1 Hiearcool USB C Hub functions perfectly and is compatible with my MacBook Air and my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I’m amazed that I could use ethernet and USB drives on them, and it provides any ports I’ll ever have to need. The USB C connector on it does seem to charge at a maximum of 100W, and the USB drives have good speeds. I had no issues with the temperature becoming too high, and the sleek design of this product makes it easy to carry around in a backpack or bag. It is straightforward to use, just plug it into a USB C port, and connect the accessory to the hub. However, I do have to give it a 4-star review because of the hub’s subpar quality of the casing. It's somewhat sturdy, but that's about it. The front of the ethernet port’s metal is starting to bend, and once, when I unplugged the ethernet cable, it took the entire casing with it, but it was a simple fix to put it back. Additionally, you have to exercise caution with the hub's USB C cable as it appears that excessive bending can harm it. Search thru and read reviews of several USB-C hubs and decide to buy this item even though it has some bad reviews. A day before I bought one with same configuration (IKL... has 4 USBs), its PD port doesn't work (most of reviews don't cover this function). I use this with my S21 Ultra phone via HDMI cable and everything works flawlessly (with all ports occupied). It can charge my phone while I'm using it. The reason to buy this, it's easier to work with mouse and keyboard on the big screen vs phone screen. It feels a tad of warmth after a while. This type of hub is used to be big and bulky, now you can take this with you anywhere. I'm really happy with the purchase. Shipping is really quick, thanks to overnight delivery. This hub works fine to connect multiple USB devices to your computer while displaying on an external monitor over HDMI. It thus does what it is says it does. I had difficulty using with an application that pumps data over an "active" USB cable between 2 computers. My Dell mini hub handled it just fine but the data xfer kept on failing when using this hub. This is a very special use case when the 2 computers handshake during data transfers. Max USB-A data xfer: 350MB/s. This hub works well for everything else. OK value. ... show more

This adapter is really nice. It allows me to turn my iPad into a desktop. I love how small and portable it is. You can take with you wherever of course. The performance is pretty good. There is no lagging and the picture quality is very good. The sound quality is amazing as well. It was super easy to connect all of my devices to it. The only thing I don’t like is the way it hangs out of my iPad and it’s really no room for cord control. It makes things on my desk a little awkward. I’m going to invest in a standing adapter to make things more presentable on my desk. Besides this small issue… It gets the job done…I will recommend this product. ... show more

    • HDMI adapter stopped working after 6 weeks (Edited: Watch our for software updates)

Started off really good. Was able to use this in a home office setup that allowed me to switch between two laptops. Sometime in the last 24 hours, the monitor stopped being detected. Went through the whole troubleshooting checklist and verified all other devices in the setup were good to go, except for this one. USB ports were still working, but the HDMI port definitely stopped working. Word of caution that this might not be the long term solution you need. =*EDIT*= So it wasn't the device. My work laptop decided to do an update that stopped the auto-sensing of the monitor. It just did another update and it works again. Will upgrade the score from 1 to 4 stars. Still minus one star because it sometimes isn't able to process multiple USB inputs properly (starts to call for low USB resources when you have a keyboard, mouse, headphones and webcam). ... show more
