This shade was easy to install, blocks the light well, has a nice linen texture and a metal bar at the bottom for weight. I love these shades! I purchased a house with a streetlamp outside my bedroom (who would have guessed). The wood blinds did not block enough light to make the bedroom dark at night. These blinds were well packaged, easily installed, and darkened the room enough that I can sleep well again. The only complaint I have is that the hardware did not come with instructions of what size drill bit to use. With my set, I started with 1/4" bit which was too big and left the anchors too loose. I switched to something slightly smaller (3/16") and the anchors work well. Test before installation if you can. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Why did we not do this years ago? As our power bill is creeping up this summer we thought about putting blinds up in our sunroom. These are perfect for blocking out the sun and they look great too! As you can see, we have two freezers which we are sure will run less than usual. My husband put them up with ease.
