I heard good things about this camera from various sources online, but boy was I wrong… Very poor picture quality. Poor camera view. The whole setup process seems very, unsettling. There is a portion of the setup that the app makes your phone emit a VERY LOUD noise to “aid In syncing”??App insists you provide your phones location to “help find the Wi-Fi your phone is on” and will continue to bug until you do so and or you can do it manually where it bother you while you type in the wifi settings. The device itself & app appear to be Chinese and seems very sketchy and potentially opens the door eavesdropping. The audio also picks up a CRAZY amount interference. I will be returning this camera as the picture quality it has is far from 1080 pand the zoom doesn’t actually zoom in the camera, it just enlarges video/picture. On top off all this, everything about device via the setup or the haphazardly written notifications throughout raised red flags. ... show more

I have purchased a mariad of these types of products over the past few months and this is by far my favorite. First, the cons: -The picture quality is by no means perfect but it is clear. -The frames per second hover around 12-15 which is reasonable. -The software app cheap and very basic but it works. -The audio is really bad - it's hardly possible at all to hear clearly when this thing is on the ceiling. -It's very likely that there are some Chinese people monitoring this thing. The security is questionable at best. Pros: +Very easy installation. +Incredibly battery life. Mine's been hanging on a 3m velco strip for about a month now and it's at 1/2 battery. Granted I do not monitor it daily and when I do, I do not record often nor do I have the motion sensor enabled. +Looks discreet - If someone REALLY got suspicious and pulled it down they'd see the SD card slot and figure out what it is, but the chances of that happening are slim. It looks like a smoke detector from the outside which is all I needed. +I love how I can monitor all of them with a quick app swipe As with most of these things, they are really very cheap but this product feels a little higher quality, granted, it is a little more expensive too. ... show more

Liked everything once you figure out to ignore the light on it , once it's been charging for 24hrs, your good and be patient for the first initial set up and wifi connection, once connected you can turn it off and the put it where you want and turn it on. Read the section on the light flashes so you understand how it connects. Keep phone right beside it 2" apart so it can connect through your phone first time, also when done viewing in the app, just hold down on app and Force Stop so it's not running in the background your phone all the time, also I had to connect it to a guest network to first get the MAC address, China never puts the MAC on their devices grrr..... Once I got it, disabled guest and added to MAC filter. I'm going to buy another one for the other end of the building when I get time. Worth the money! Even i got movement detection camera supposed to saved movement but 2 of them not working one camera is working and saving videos and I changed memory card its not working at all after couple months couldn't even return it
