The media could not be loaded. Save your money and do not buy this one! I have never seen such a bad quality before. This unit simply does not work as expected. I do not understand how the manufacturer got the idea of giving this device a "Hi-Spec" name, other than perhaps to mislead the customer. The vise does not close well enough to keep thin sheets of materials or small parts in a firm grip. The jaws are not coming together fully and they are not aligned at all. The movable jaw part is wiggling back and forth, even more than my large 5 inch bench vise. See my pictures before you buy and you get the idea. Picture 1 shows that yaws (with the rubber covers removed) do not close tightly. Pic 2 shows the misalignment. The video shows how lose the moving jaw is. I'm sending it back today! ... show more

I really wanted to like this, but I had forgotten what a vice is used for (not really). A vice is used to hold an object so you can apply torque on object whether that be pulling pressing pushing prying etc. The suction is not going to hold up to the above forces mentioned above. Second the main arm that is attached to the base and vice part rotates when you apply the above forces as mentioned. Yes it was tightened and yes the suction base and surface were clean and flat and non porous. Not impressed. ... show more

    • Great cheap vise that clamps to any table edge.
Great swivel jaws that come with rubber grips so it won't hurt polished surfaces or wood. But it's light duty and not made of the heaviest steel or finished beautifully. But who cares? It's perfect for filing my leather tools on odd angles. The jaws tighten strong enough so I can file away on steel tools without them coming lose. For the little money it costs it's well worth it for all of your light duty projects. ... show more

Very Sturdy and Secure addition to my electronic repairs. The vise is of a metal design with rubber contact plates. I needed a dependable method to secure circuit boards in one plane, and then be able to rotate it to another. The vice does this while still securing the board. I expect this tool to wear well and meet my needs. In addition, I can remove it and free up space, when not it use. ... show more

The suction and vice work well. However, the ball joint that allows for angle adjustment slips under mild pressure, rendering the vice useless.

Very well designed and made. Very versatile. However for the suction cup to work, the surface must be clean and polished. Can be used on a desk top, counter top or any smooth polished surface.
