These are some of the most beautiful pots I have ever had! To be fair, since I just received them today, I only rated heat distribution and durability with 4 stars because I can’t say anything yet regarding those points as I have not used them yet. They certainly are easy to wash, but I just washed them to get them prepped for seasoning before use. I also have the HexClad 5 qt. Covered Dutch Oven. They have a nice weight to them, but not as heavy as cast iron or LeCreuset pieces. They definitely arrive securely packed in their own boxes and each piece is covered with a nice cloth type storage bag. Ha! ha! UPS… you can’t beat this packaging up! I can’t wait to order all of the rest of the pieces I want! They are a bit expensive, but in the long run they will last for many years. I saw ONE review that said she thought they were a waste of money because she said the food stuck to her pan and she had a hard time cleaning it. Out of ALL the reviews I read, it was the only one who said anything negative. My opinion on that review is that she most likely didn’t follow directions when she received it and didn’t SEASON the pan first before using it; and so blamed the pan! I did not find a single flaw or scratch on any of the pieces I received. They have a beautiful shiny mirror like finish on the outside, and all the welds on the handles are strong and clean. Was very skeptical at first, but was definitely worth the purchase. Right out the box they have working perfectly. Follow the directions is the key. Pans stay nice and warm for quite some time after turning off heat. Will be purchasing pans next.

After researching many different sets, I was a little concerned with how these pans were made with the chemicals that were considered lifelong. Regardless, you only live once so I gambled. These pans are so easy to clean. Once you season them, they are ready for use. They cook food evenly and sear nicely. I will buy more in the future as my old pans are retired. ... show more

I started with one piece and now have about 12 -14 pieces...and counting... including the pizza steels, woks, skillets, stock pots, and the 2 burner griddle! The quick and even heating across all is second to none! The heft is perfect without bring too heavy. (I'm donating all of my Le Creuset cookware...far too heavy for me now as I age). I love searing on my gas cooktop then transferring to the oven to finish off. I love the fun of cooking with each of the 3 sizes of woks I bought depending on the need. So easy! I absolutely love the wok dome lid by the way! I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the customer service is outstanding. My 10" wok showed small signs of starting to peel. I contacted Hexclad ( since they have a lifetime warranty). Once they saw my issue they immediately shipped me a replacement! I am absolutely sold...and will be a customer for life! Expensive? Yes! But you get what you pay for...and in the long run this is the cookware you can count on...with every size imaginable...and customer service matters! ... show more

    • Need to give 5 stars but has one issue

I love my Hexclad. We have induction burners in our RV we live in so they are perfect for it. But, The nonstick just never really works well. I have tried lower temps and do not want to use too much oil. I spray the pan with PAM and an egg on low settings still will stick every time. They do heat up more than traditional pans and I have become used to changing my setting down lower but really wish I could make it not stick. Have the 3 pan set and the Woks. ... show more
