I filled mine about 1/2 full w/ shredded bbq chicken. It went from cold (ice cooler) to very hot in ~25 min, and heated evenly. Quite a value with all the extra stuff that comes with it, but I personally only use the warmer. When the lid is clipped on, it's very sturdy. LED in the front lets you know if it's on. It's about the size of classic metal lunchboxes from the 70s-80s. Easy to clean. I suspect the metal pan might rust if it stays wet too long so I just use crockpot liner bags. ... show more

I purchased this for my 11 year old daughter. I tested it out and it worked fabulous. My only recomendation is that it come with a build in timer. I have to warm up my daughters lunch at 0600 for her to take at 0700 her lunch is at 1130 am. when I asked her if her meal was hot or warm she said warm... and she enjoyed her lunch. She's not able to plug in at school so this is the only downside. but overall i'm impressed with this. I also am curious to know how do I order more of the metal tray? Just in case she loses it or damages it? ... show more

Watch out with this product! I purchased on Feb 13, and about two months later, I noticed smoke coming out of the unit around the plug in area. It actually melted the plug, so I'm glad I was standing there to unplug it. Don't let this contraption burn your house down!! UPDATE 4/30/24: Although I found it impossible to find a way to contact the seller for a refund, they reached out to me after I posted this review and refunded the full amount. It doesn't change the fact that I had a bad experience with the product malfunctioning, I'm increasing the rating from 1 to 3 stars because of the responsiveness of the seller. ... show more

I’ve had it just under 3 months. It was working great! I use it maybe 3-4 times a week. Kept it clean. Didn’t let any liquid get into the electric parts. And one day, one side just wouldn’t heat up anymore. So half of my food is piping hot and the other half is ice cold. Really disappointed. Update : contacted the seller and they sent a replacement.
