This is really a well-built bike for the price that I paid. I researched building my own. I've always wanted an all-wheel drive e-bike. It turns out it would be really difficult to build a bike with these capabilities for less or even a comparable price. And it would look like Frankenstein lol. In my1600$ opinion, Wallkie is making some cool bikes for the money! It show their enthusiasm. So far the quality of my bike has been great! There was a little wheel damage during shipping. But Wallkie corrected that issue for me. Their customer service was great to deal with honestly. Range: I typically get 20miles running both motors at full power & mild pedaling. I also live in an area with a lot of steep hills. Performance: I really enjoy the way this bike preforms and it's versatility! In one bike you can have a 33 mph commuter with lights, bells and whistles. While at the same time you can turn the levels down and get a great workout. For those getting back into fitne Way better then a treadmill ( just sayin). I highly recommend an e-bike. It allows you to last longer without overdoing it to quickly. It is really a pleasure to drive. I find myself taking it to the store instead of my motorcycle, truck or jeep! This bike handles sand and loose terrain very well! Most mountain bikes are unrideable in these conditions. Practically speaking of course... Drivetrain: I I'm very impressed by the derailleur set up on this bike. It shifts amazing!!! So if yours doesn't, you might need a derailleur hanger alignment issue or need a break in tune-up. The geared motors are very powerful! I was very impressed. Suspension: Not bad for budget components. You are not getting a 6000$ down hill MTB. But it works well on back roads and (mild) single track trails. Plus it is easily upgradable because Wallkie chose standard hardware fitment. Fit and finish: No complaints here. The black scratches fairly easy but it also touches up easy too. Be sure to check all your bolts. Especially if you do rough roads. This bike is fast enough to vibrate itself to pieces lol. The wheels and tires are a great combination for this bike. Airing down the tires gives you great cushion and traction! While airing them up really lowers rolling resistance. I got dozens of compliments on this bike. The wheels being the most common. Warning: This bike will attract purist haters... The electronics: The electronics on this bike (X3 Max) are pretty good. My only complaint would be the firmware for the motor controller. While it does work okay. Some refinement would make this product incredible! That being said, most e-bikes are this way. There are two main things that I really dislike. The cadence sensor functionality. There is about a two pedal lag/sec when the motors turn on and off. You can change how the power comes on btw. Unfortunately it will turn on with full force allowed per your PAS level. Leave those settings low at first. Once you get used to it, turn them up, but it makes technical stuff difficult. Secondly I really wish there was a better way to switch from front, rear, and all-wheel drive. Again, you can get used to it but it really impedes technical ridding. I would prefer a short press of the i-button to change between drive modes. And only two or three mode. This would change the ergonomics, turn this into a topnotch product (Wallkie). I wish Wallkie would implement a torque sensor option. In summary I really enjoy this bike and am considering putting a second battery on the rack to increase my range. I have no problems riding 20+ miles on this bike when I have the time. In summary, I'm really happy with my purchase! All these options combined with foldability really makes this bike stand apart from the rest. ... show more

I've had the bike for a few weeks now and just hit 100 miles on the odometer. Wallke is a fantastic company. I've never received this kind of customer service from any other company. Before the bike was shipped Wallke emailed me directly to confirm the shipping and order information. Not only that, but a few days after I received the bike they emailed again to make sure I was able to assemble the bike and nothing was wrong. Again, completely blown away by the customer service of Wallke. I'm 100% confident that if I do run into any issues later on down the line that the company will go above and beyond to remedy the situation. Shipping was lightening fast. I bought the bike on Nov. 16th, the bike shipped on Nov. 17th and was delivered to my front door by Nov. 20th. I couldn't believe how fast they were able to get my bike shipped to me. The bike has wonderful suspension. Makes me feel like I'm riding on air. Long battery life. I'm able to go 35-40 miles easy on throttle only mode. Smooth motor. Weather I'm in pedal assist or throttle only, the motor is very smooth and powerful to get me up hills. I went with the desert tan color. What a beautiful paint job, and not a scratch on it. You can tell the company listens to their customers. I, of course, watched a bunch of review videos on this bike before purchasing. Wallke has fixed almost all issues mentioned in those reviews through design adjustments or using different parts. For example, they have different hand brakes that don't have the bolt that hits your knuckle while riding. Good going Wallke!!!! Keep up the good work! ... show more

I think $200 for shipping is too much. As a first time e-bike purchaser I don't know a lot of the questions that need to be asked now I know a lot of things that I would have asked. The Good: Suspension is amazing I'm on the heavy side and around 5'8 and the bike doesn't bottom out it's smooth over bumps better than any bike I've ever ridden. Fat tires are amazing on pavement as well as the dirt. Eight speed gives you plenty of ability to find a gear that matches the speed. Decent power, because my gear is usually set on 8th, I like to start off using the throttle and then catch up with pedaling and it does that really well. I love night riding because the headlight is so bright it lights up the entire road and having a brake light that is so bright makes me feel safe. The display is quite bright and easy to read. Battery compartment is great for concealing and protecting the battery from the elements And it has the lock to lock it in the frame and to turn it on and off, in the of position no power gets to the bike at all. The bike looks awesome it's a beast everyone that has seen my bike loves it I got the gray edition it is sharp The paint is good the welds on the aluminum are perfect The construction of it is worth the price. The motor is gutsy but I will say has less power starting than I was expecting due to the gearing to give it the high speed of 32 mph. The bike is very heavy which isn't a positive but the hydraulic brakes easily stop the bike most reviews show the same. The bike was almost fully assembled All I had to do was put the tire on and the handlebars. The seat is very comfortable The Bad: No manual comes with the display that I got (Yolon YL81F) I included a picture of the display I received. The controller does not have the ability to program speeds of the various PAS levels so riding with friends may be a problem but in my things to know section below I will show you how to set the cruise control and other things about that. Factory stem makes you reach pretty far away from the seat I replaced mine as soon as I opened the box with an adjustable one that raised it up higher as well. Factory installed controls on the handlebars need to be rearranged otherwise your hand will continually be rubbed by the brakes YouTube reviews show what I'm talking about there, All you need to do is adjust them away from your hand better as the hand grips are too small for medium to larger hands. I'd rather have a twist grip for a throttle than a thumb grip. Would have liked a bike accessory mount for a water bottle holder. Things to know: I couldn't find a display operation manual but Kevin's told me how to set the cruise so I thought I would share it here. To set the cruise bring the bike up to the speed you want it to stay at using the throttle and once you've reached the speed, while keeping the throttle fixed at that speed, press and hold the minus button for two to three seconds you'll see the cruise control light up on the display and it will maintain the speed that you are at. How that helps, as I said before I rode with a friend his e-bike was a mile and a half per hour off in every PAS level than my bike so I was forced to use my throttle the whole time and if I peddled it would take off and go faster or slower than my friend's bike... With the cruise control set you can still pedal and it won't defeat the cruise speed. I only wish you could increase the speed by half a mile an hour by pressing up or the down buttons other than that though this is better than nothing. I only have 44 miles on it and the main reason for that is because we've got freezing temperatures lately today it was 52° and I was able to take a 15 mi ride enjoyed every bit of it. I was able to get the spike for $1599 - $500 coupon... Add the $200 shipping to that and I do believe it's worth that money. Although I'm not getting the answers from Kevin's or from wallke that I would like I think they're doing a good job responding to me very quickly so all in all I'm very happy with my decision to purchase this bike. ... show more
