I can begin to say enough great things about this shampoo. I've been using very expensive, nearly salon use, hair dye for years because it did an excellent job covering my grey, but I wanted something to touch up between dyes because that's EXPENSIVE black dye. I figured that putting gloves on and leaving in dry for 20 minutes would do the minimum of a very cheap hair dye and that I might regret it but the reviews convinced me to give it a try. I'm blown away by how fantastic this shampoo is. I haven't used actual dye in my hair in nearly a year now. The grey coverage, even for my stubborn grey, is brilliant! And it leaves my hair soft and silky afterward. The best part is that it LASTS FOREVER! I think I've actually found myself using it less often than I did the dye, which is amazing because my hair is healthier and growing faster than ever. And the black dye comes out a very natural but very deep and rich black. If you're on the fence right now, give this a try. You won't regret it. If your experience is as good as mine you'll ditch the dye altogether. Seriously, my dye was $35 for ONE use. If I buy this separately without setting it up for autorenewal, it's just shy of $40 and I'm on my 4th use without even having used half the bottle yet. Herbishh, you have a lifelong customer in me. You've made dying and upkeeping my hair super easy and far cheaper without having to resort to cheap brand that fries my hair. Please don't ever change this formula because it is incredible! I was coloring my hair with demi- permanent color at a salon in the same red you see in the picture. It fades after 20 washes. My friend told me about the hair coloring shampoo after I got human hair extensions for a vacation and couldn't color my hair. The shampoo is safe for human hair extensions and it does an excellent job of covering grays. When my hair is parted in the middle you can see most of my grays and as you can see in both pictures there are no grays now. I get so many compliments on this hair color. And one bottle lasts at least 3-4 applications and I have long and thick hair. It's easy to apply and there is no smell. I highly recommend this product. ... show more

I bought this to cover my Grey roots because I really didn't have the time to go to the salon. I absolutely love how simple and easy this product was to use. The color is rich and a little darker than I expected. Several people complimented my hair. My son and best friend actually liked the color which was a surprise. They would be the first to tell me if I messed up. This was the first time I colored my own hair. I left the product on a little longer because my greys are difficult to color. The product was easy to wash out. There is a packet of conditioner to apply after rinsing your hair thoroughly. Let conditioner set for at least 5 minutes before rinsing out.. Your hair will be so soft and shiny. I've washed my hair since applying the color and it still looks good. I highly recommend this product. I'll definitely purchasing again. ... show more
