As long as you have some tension when you attach the hammock to the stand, it doesn't hang too low. I bought this hammock less than a year ago, and the ropes just broke on it. I love to lounge outside when it’s nice out, to Destress from the day. It’s brought in during winter months, and storms. I’m a bigger girl, but nowhere exceeding the weight limit for this hammock. This hammock should not have fallen apart like this. It worked very well for a few months but recently broke- most likely only because I was sitting on it with my boyfriend. We kept it outside during rain, sun, and storms and it was fairly weather proof but I think to get the most use out of it you’d need to store it away and probably not exceed 200pounds. This easily is prone to flipping over in the wind where I live. I like leaving the hammock up all summer but it has gotten tangled with the flipping. However its very comfortable and stylish.

We had bought this hammock last year for my daughter. Used it in the summer, stored in the shed all winter up high, took it out in the spring and within the first week of having it out, the very end rope snapped. It’s still functional, I guess, but there’s no way that I can see to replace the single rope without buying a new hammock. Just disappointing. ... show more
