This is the 2nd one I have purchased and it is best shaker bottle I have used. Works better than any with a wisk ball or something else to aid in stirring the mixture. Easier to clean also. Had an issue with the lid on this one and Helimix replaced the whole bottle without any problem. Easiest company to deal with by far. You ever love the feeling of getting something that does it's job extremely well? Then this bottle will give you that feeling. I had wanted to try one out for awhile and when my old bottle finally cracked, it was finally time to buy. It's such a simple idea and yet it works to perfection. The protein powder and milk I used, which are not the highest quality, blended incredibly well. This puts my older blender ball style mixing bottles to shame. I will be purchasing another one. The product seems to be made of high quality plastic, so hopefully it will hold up for many years. My only knock on this product is that I did pinch my finger underneath the plastic grip ring when opening the bottle with my other hand. ... show more

I’ve been through many shaker bottles with the “mixing balls”. All were awful. This bottle mixes my protein drinks with ease. No clumps. No dry powder. All mixed with a few good shakes. There has never been a leak (as long as I remember to close the drinking spout). I haven’t dropped it, so don’t know how sturdy against concrete and such, but most plastic bottles might break on concrete. Colors are fun and help with identifying my bottle from hubby’s. If you're like me, you saw this cup and thought, "wow! No extra clangy ball to mess around with and it mixes just by shaking?" And truly it does. I spent more time than I'd like to admit sitting and starting at the bubbly vortex in the cup after a good shake, staring in wonderment at the complex simplicity of a simple design change. On a more serious note, this thing is seriously tough! I've dropped it, stepped on it and accidentally shut it in a car door. The only thing to really take it out after nearly a year of use was to carelessly place the cup portion on the bottom rack of my dishwasher, distorting the threads of the cup. Fortunately for me, customer service was absolutely phenomenal! I sent am email and got a response in just over an hour. I sent a couple of photos, gave them the cup size and color along with my address and in was informed that I would be receiving a new cup in a week or so! So, if youre looking for a tough shaker with no extra bits to keep track of and are worried in the least about customers service, this is the way to go! ... show more

I let some of the reviews for this shaker get into my head, particularly the ones that said the cap was not able to be tightened down so you had to hold it while shaking. So, of course I did this and it leaked a little and I was irritated with yet another cup. I thought it was weird it would have a built in handle if it didn't close tightly. How was I supposed to put it in my lunchbox full? Fast forward a few hours where I happened to have the lid upside down while filling the shaker and saw that there was a ridge inside the lip of the drinking opening. You have to PUSH the black cap down HARD until it SNAPS. No more leaking! This shaker is genius, and mixes the clear protein powder that I need to drink 4 times a day with ease! I got so tired of messing around with mixing balls and weird fan structures, given I'm often mixing protein at work, or at the airport, or on airplanes... Places where extra parts or difficult things to clean are annoying. Super happy with this purchase once I stopped being dumb about it! Since I mix 16oz clear protein powders with water, I needed a shaker that can handle thin liquids. This cup will likely replace every other shaker in my collection!
