I'm building a 1800+ sqft deck, so I've got LOTS of joists (66) and bridging to deal with. I went through a lot of frustration covering the beams with tape, so I was hoping not to be dealing with backing that shreds when you try to pull it off. This tape rocks! It's easy to peel a corner and the backing came off in one piece on the first 30 runs. My contractor needs me to give him a starting run of just 2' (long story). I was able to cut 30 two foot sections and it took me less than three "picks" at each corner to release the backing. It sticks to the wood but still gives you a few tries to reposition (not after you apply pressure though). The only downside is that it takes multiple tears to remove the label. I didn't dock them a point for this, but I've got 6" tape from a different supplier and the labels come off in one easy piece. ... show more

Tape at the big box stores got do expensive that I decided to try this to save money. It does not stick quite as well as high end tape but the stick was adequate. It was easy to apply and appears to provide good protection. It is almost as good as high end tape at half the price so I highly recommend it and will use it going forward. ... show more

Really happy with this product. Using out on all the stringers on our new deck. It is incredibly sticky! I did find that you want to stretch it to make it go farther, but I wouldn’t recommend stretching it too far. It will pull up from the starting points, if you pull it too hard. Also, if you’re scooting around on your butt along the tape, don’t wear your favorite pants because you will end up getting that tape glue on your butt at some point and it won’t come off! ... show more
