These are my first set of boxing gloves. I'm new to boxing and wasn't sure what to get. These feel comfortable. I pounded on my punching bag for a while, and they felt comfortable the whole time. My hands are small and they have velcro that I could pull tight to fit my wrists. I haven't owned MMA style gloves before but I have owned boxing/muay thai gloves and the quality of these is similar to nicer brands of the latter. They fit well (XL) and are comfortable overall. Mine are just for working a bag for now when I'm working on form rather than going all out and they work great for that use. The wrist strap is also very secure and comfortable. ... show more

    • MMA gloves but we use them to help get our heart rate up
The media could not be loaded. We have a small gym here at our house, and we thought of getting these gloves and working on our boxing technique, but mainly to get our heart rate up. My wife and I are older and in our mid-50s so this is a great way to have fun while we work on our cardio and movement. It’s surprising how much looser I feel when I engage my hips in a punch for example. I’m starting to think we need a big bag and a bag but we’re running out of room quickly.
