I have had several electric grills and this is the only one that has worked for more than several months. I live in Florida and with high humidity, which apparently causes the electronics short out (not sealed against moisture?). While repair parts (first time) were provided free of charge, the repair was time consuming and messy. The Weber features a temperature control module, which can be removed and taken indoors after grilling. The grill itself is a table top, well built and reaches high temperatures quickly and evenly. Since the cover was half the price as the one with the Weber name on it I took the chance and bought it for my 18 inch Weber grill and glad I did. This cover is heavy duty and very well made plus completely water proof. I even has a Velcro loop on the bottom where you can secure the cover to the grill in case of high wind. It fits so well it would take a strong wind to take it off anyway but the Velcro loop just adds extra security. If you need a cover you really can't go wrong with this one. Was a bit skeptical when I saw the price but i purchased a similar cover for my Kamado Joe ceramic grill and have been very pleased with it. This cover is the same quality as the one I purchased for the KJ. Much better thean the Weber Kettle cover I had previously. It (the Weber and KJ namebrand covers I previously had) literally disintegrated after one year out in the elements. The cover I bought for the KJ has been out in the elements for 2 years now and is as sturdy as the day I bought it. The first cover I bought for my Aunt. The second cover I bought for my parents after they lost their "Weber" brand cover during the last high winds we had. I am using these for Kenmore water softeners that are outside in the elements. My Aunt's cover was purchased in August 17th, 2019. It is holding up very well. I've had Weber grills since the early 1970's and have gone through dozens of covers, including the Weber branded. Most lasted only a year or two. This cover has lasted over six years. Due to some cat damage, time to replace.

Cover is good quality heavy vinyl polyester. The bottom cinches with a drawstring, but there are additional Velcro straps to customize the fit further. It covers the handles and gas tank and keeps the entire unit clean and out of the weather. You won’t be disappointed in the quality.
