This is a fantastic tarp and I am ordering a couple more when these wear out. They are definitely 14 mil thick and very well constructed. I cut this tarp, folded seams in it and added additional grommets to fit a winter dog run enclosure. Not only was the tarp thick, but even the reinforcement twine square were aligned so well that they were square to the edges and made it easy to cut. The grommets were high quality and the tarp measured 10X14 as it was supposed to. (most tarps are a few inches smaller than the stated measurements). It was nice at first. We put in a bunch of work to get it tied to the green house and make it look nice. After around 6 months it dry rotted and now there are a million little plastic squares in my greenhouse.

We used these tarps (7x20 and 12x24) to wrap our 6 ft tall chicken pen for the winter. I have NO DOUBT they will last in the HARSH Northern Illinois wind, snow and bitter cold! Very impressed with the quality, the thickness of the plastic, the quality grommets with extra bracing in the corners. Ropes pulled VERY Tight and the Grommets did not even flinch!
