this is really cute and the 'heartbeat' is ok meaning it's not too strong and not really too soft. At any rate my puppy must have given it one star because he didn't even look at it. "I" was kind of disappointed!

I love this for crate training my puppy. It looks like him. It comforts him, then he grabs it and shakes it around. At least he doesn't cry all night. The heartbeat lasts a long time between batteries.

Destructiveness: 💪 Bella is surprisingly good with plush toys, so, if you have a super chewer (like my other fur baby)- I’m not sure if I would recommend. However, he does have a toy like this coming in soon; and if he does good with it, I plan on getting him this same one as well since he has bad anxiety. I will update my review if so. TLDR; Bella is good with plush toys. If you have a super chewer dog, I don’t know if I would recommend. 🐶💖 Soft 🐶💖 Easy to install batteries &/ heat pack 🐶💖 Good Size for medium-large dogs / puppies 🐶💖 GREAT pricing. The screws on the heart are super cheap, and the screwdriver stripped the screws and I wasn’t able to open the heart to put the batteries in and use it. Super disappointing to be honest. I’d definitely recommend the name brand Snuggle Puppy instead just for quality reasons. Our first dachshund would rip the heart out of the Velcro on another Amazon brand one when he was a puppy, so good quality is important. Petsmart was out of the Snuggle Puppies when I went to repurchase, and the associate told me that a big lamb chop stuffed toy also works especially for smaller dogs. We tried it and our new mini dachshund puppy loves it. We also put a shirt of ours in with her and that has helped more than any Snuggle Puppy has. ... show more

Got this for my mom, she got an 8 week old Bernese Mountain dog puppy, the pup cried all night, she wouldn't sleep in bed with them only climb all over them and if put in the crate she whaled, so I ordered one of these on a whim 2 days in, it was a miracle! She would lay on it in bed with them, she would sleep in her crate with it, it worked to help get her over the first few nights without her litter, and she still sleeps with it nightly at 16 weeks old! The dog itself is pretty durable, it's been washed once a week (gentle cycle, air dry) and the 'heartbeat box' lasts about 2 weeks on batteries when you turn it off every morning, if you don't turn it off it dies in 3ish days. I will say the only negative is the 'heat pack' that comes with it gets really hot, and I don't see it being safe for the pup at all, if they got ahold of what's inside of it, my parents opted to stop using it after the first night or 2. Their older dogs love this thing too and try to steal it from the puppy every chance they get. ... show more

I have a 8 week old puppy and bought this to help with nighttime and create training. The first week it worked great. Then it stoped. I tried fresh batteries but still not working. The plush is very nice and soft. However, now it is a very overpriced stuffy.
