My mother lost her $3000 hearing aid. I found this under $100 hearing aid as her backup. Simple on/off , volume control and good price. The $3000 hearing aid is just smaller and link to the phone app that is too fancy for my mom.

I bought this for my husband because his hearing is of an 90 year old He has had many ear surgerys and infections that it has his hearing so bad. He keeps putting of getting in to get some from the Dr. He now has the TV at a level that the neighbors don't hear and we don't have to yell. If it's turned on before putting in your ear it will make a loud piercing noise It goes away once in but he says it's hard to turn the tiny button while it's on He is happy with it with no complaints ... show more

Amplifies sounds a fair amount; of course unlike custom/professional hearing aids, these will not be tailored to your specific hearing loss and will amplify all sounds equally rather than specifically boosting the frequencies your own ears have trouble with on their own. Speaking voices from across the room are much clearer, but close-by sounds like creaking of your chair or rustling paper can get distractingly loud as well. This is super great value considering the price and performance. It compares to more expensive hearing aids. My grandmother has difficulty hearing and relies on hearing aids. These were very simple to set up and use. Clipped onto her ear very easily and wasn't too uncomfortable. Very simple design and everything needed is provided including the charging case and cord. She has a more expensive pair and while I will say these hearing aids are very good, the performance could be better but for this price, it's a no-brainer. My only complaint is it does feel plasticky and not as durable. My grandmother can be clumsy at times, and I do wonder if this will hold up through wear-and-tear. Until then, I am very happy with this hearing aid and would strongly recommend it for anyone looking for a budget pair with great value. ... show more

These work good as temporary. I wouldn’t use them long term if you do have hearing issues. I wouldn’t use go to a dr to get properly diagnosed but these do work in a pinch.

I am really surprised with the quality and performance of these Hearing Aids Rechargeable (Pair), Hearing Amplifier for Seniors & Adults, OTC Behind-The-Ear BTE Hearing Aid. I have got my dad so many different pairs of hearing aids at a cost much much higher that ended up being duds but this set is absolutely wonderful for him. He can now hear us when we are having a conversation without having to pretty much scream, watch tv normally, and they block out back noise. They charge fairly quickly and last for a couple days before having to recharge. He can easily adjust the volume and they feel comfortable on his ears so we are extremely pleased especially with the low price. I highly recommend these to mild/moderate hearing loss. ... show more
