I’m 81 and have normal hearing loss, I’ve been searching for the best hearing aids and I think I’ve found it with these ones! These new hearing aids have the best voice clarity of any other ones I’ve tried. The Bluetooth capability allows me to now be able to hear phone conversations clearly and concise.     • Work Well Now - Update #3

Third (final) Update - after wearing 2nd pair for a few days I'm satisfied now. The sound quality is good, considering low cost, after making the hearing test adjustments in the app (but sound quality is not as great as hearing aids costing thousands). I have to fiddle with them a little bit every now and then to keep them mated with my ear canal opening, which improves the sound. After a while I forget they are there. I have severe hearing loss in the high tone and terrible hearing in the normal ranges, and these hearing aides restore my ability to hear pretty well..... Second Update - I recieved the replacement hearing aides very quickly (next day). They charge normally so far, and provide good hearing. I will update again in a few days to report on charging and overall quality. First Update - The charger stopped charging the left side hearing aide after 2 1/2 days. I went through all the troubleshooting steps a couple dozen times. Amazon support was very helpful but the hearing aides now must be returned (thats why 2 stars). If the next set they send me work well I will give 4 stars, if they are defective again I will give 1 star. The following statement is my old review....My prescription hearing aids stopped working and I needed something fast because I couldn't get an audiology appt before my vacation next week (so I can hear family). I needed the cheap ones; I don't have a lot of money to throw at this. These got good reviews so I took a chance. I was going to rate these at one star initially because they didn't increase the sound whatsoever at first and after several tries for a couple hours (VERY FRUSTRATING!) Then I decided to manipulate the hearing test to show I could only hear the test sounds when they were very loud (I have severe hearing loss in the high ranges), so I needed the max volume possible on all adjustments. Now they are loud and clear with a small to moderate amount of tinnyness. My prescription hearing aides (Phonec) are only a little bit better with regard to sound quality. The possible drawback you may have is the overall design is a fairly rigid structure that doesn't flex much; so it may not conform to your ear as well as hearing aides with the thin flexible tube. I had to play with the fit and increase the ear bud size to get a halfway decent seal in my ear canal opening. Lastly, this is not hi-fi stereo sound quality but is plenty good for conversation. ... show more
