I have had these for a month now, and they are performing about as expected. First of all, they advertised long battery life.(20 hours) As of this posting I have yet to have the batteries go dead under normal use. I generally charge them as I sleep. I put them in around 5:00am and they are still functioning at 10:00 or 11:00pm. They are a little more bulky than others I have worn. That's because the speaker actually is attached to the ear cup.... However, this doesn't bother me. The volume is okay, but for me could be a little better as I have heavy hearing loss. If you have mild to moderate hearing loss, these will probably work well for you. Again, with my particular hearing loss I could use more sound settings than the three these have. #2 seems to work better for me. They are a good value for the price, and I have no problem recommending them. Just keep your expectations in check. These are decent, inexpensive hearing amplifiers, not $2,000 hearing aids. ... show more

I mention to remove the sticker first because I was too excited about getting these that I was wondering why they were bothering my ears till I realized I forgot to take this sticker off. After that, these amplifiers fit a lot better and have not bothered my ears since. Comes with a few different silicone ear pieces and was able to find a size that fit inside without any problems. Similar to my bluetooth earbuds, these amplifiers are really easy to use. They arrived with a low charge on them so before using, it's best to charge first, plus it will tell you how much of a charge you have on the case. When these are charging in the case, there is a magnet that holds them in and even if you hold them upside down, they won't fall out. My hearing is not that bad but bought these to help when I have to go out and these really do help amplify the sound. Even when people are talking to me with a mask on, I can now hear them a lot better than what I did before. Years of going to concerts are starting to affect my hearing and with these amplifiers, I can clearly hear conversations that are happening across rooms. I am able to turn these down when I'm at the store and a lot of the time they get mistaken for me wearing headphones. I do like the clear tubing because it really makes them look discrete and not even noticeable. When I wear my hair up, you can tell I'm wearing something in my ears. When my hair is down, you can't even see these. The tubing does lay flat up against my face but I'm more excited that I can now hear a lot better. ... show more

Order one set, worked great UNTIL… One just shut off. Never did charge again or turned on. I sent them in for a replacement. Received replacement soon, the same thing happened! No Customer service to help!

Purchase this for a family member who is hard of hearing after the one prescribed by the doctor did not work properly as well as juiced up the batteries too quickly (very costly). At first was having major problems with them with a continuous buzz. I contacted the company Jinghao expressing my concern and was responded with directions which to help troubleshoot and they worked right away! The earpiece needed to fit snugly so I fitted it with a bigger silicone ear cap. Do not turn on until after the earpiece was installed. I am able to hear the turned on beeps after installing while turning on the buttons listening close to the earpiece. Arm raising close to the earpiece can cause the earpiece to buzz so it's easy simply avoiding it. Happy he is able to hear once again without having to shout! He doesn't use the phone much. When he does, I use an external speaker attached to my phone so he can hear well without the need of placing the phone close to his ear. Pros: * Excellent customer service from Jinghao! * Comes well packaged. * Rechargeable batteries last all day on one charge. Saves money over disposables. * Excellent charging unit that doubles as a storage box. *Charging unit has lights to indicate when it's fully charged, charging, needs charging. * Affordable price. Cons: * Buzz when hand is too close to ear, but that is easily resolved by not placing hand/arm close to hearing aid. Very happy with this product. Planning on purchasing again when needed. I tried three different ear amplifier companies before purchasing these. These are so comfortable, clarity the best and light weight. After wearing them several days all of a sudden the left ear went silent. I of course assumed they needed to be charged. I left both on the charge over night. I started to use them later in the day but this time the right ear went silent. I checked to make sure the cap was clean, the right size (small) and sound was turned up. I came to the conclusion both ears had a short in the circuit somewhere. I made a big mistake when I went to return them. The company offered to try and fix the problem but I thought they couldn't be so I returned them. A few days later I realize how much I miss these amplifiers and decided to reorder. If I have the same problem with the new set I'll be sure to contact their technical support. For me they are a perfect fit for my hearing problem. ... show more

The aids are as specified. Select the correct ear insert and they work with no squeal. They easily last all day on a charge and the charging station will recharge both aids at least 3 times before it needs to be plugged in. Bad part: Telephone Mode is essentially the same as "off". The volume control does not work at all in this mode and nothing is amplified. In the other two modes the amplified sound is very tinny. Like someone cranked the bass off and the treble on full. And even though you can press the volume button 5 times, the first three presses do not actually change anything. And the last two - the loudest- have massive amounts electrical "hiss". The hiss is so loud on the highest volume setting that you can not distinguish words spoken to you. So, in essence, these aids have 2 working modes and 1 usable volume setting. ... show more
