I don't have a diagnosed hearing problem (yet), but have started having much more problems hearing certain things. My wife has noted that I keep turning the television up higher than I used to, and higher than she'd like me to (especially when it's late and she's going to bed). So, I ordered these to see if it would help. When they're working, it definitely helps and boosts the sounds around me. I'm able to keep the volume down much lower and can still understand voices more clearly. They are easy to use and the battery power is good -- I can watch television all evening on one charge. The biggest issue is that sometimes it ends up getting feedback or something, and I have to constantly adjust or try things to get it back to being clear. Doesn't happen all the time, but frequently enough that it's an impediment to using them all the time. When they're working, they're great; but I just wish it worked more consistently... ... show more

This set of rechargeable hearing aids is very nice. They come in a case that itself acts as a charger for the hearing aids. The charger case has a display screen on the front that shows its battery life. Included is a cord to charge the charging case (in any USB port), a brush for cleaning the hearing aids, a storage pouch and a clip on strap that can attach to one’s clothing and to the hearing aids so that if they do not stay in your ears well they will not fall to the ground if they slip out. There is also a manual that instructs you on how to use the hearing aids: it tells you how to charge them, to know when they are finished charging, to adjust the volume, etc. and everything is fairly easy to understand and so they are easy to use. The hearing aids fit my ears pretty well and the five volume levels are not difficult to change, though you do have to cycle through them all in order to switch to a lower volume. The hearing aids have a good battery life as well. I would not say that I have extreme hearing loss but there are certain situations where there’s a lot of background noise and/or where I’m conversing with soft-spoken people and have trouble hearing so a nice product like this can really come in handy. My only complaint is that there was a bit of uncomfortable feedback when I first put them into my ears, but I would assume that is standard with any hearing aid devices. Overall, I am quite happy with these hearing aids and I would recommend them. ... show more

These are very nice, simple to use rechargeable hearing amplifiers / aids that work very well, especially at the affordable price. They have no ear pads and for me, one fit great, but the other had me a bit concerned it might fall out (but it never did). They turn on automatically when taken out of the charging / storage case, and turn off when returned to the case. It was a minor challenge for me to remove these from the case. The only adjustment is for volume by touching the devices; it is very easy to do. I did not encounter any unwanted screeching or whistling sounds, and it did not really amplify my own voice very much (which is a big plus for me). It also did not amplify my foot steps and other sounds I don’t wish to have amplified. There is a very mild (to me pleasant) white noise that is likely the noise cancelling feature. I don’t have severe hearing loss, so I cannot address how these will work in that scenario. The storage / charging case digitally displays the charge percentage when plugged in to the provided USB C cord. The rated charge times are 1-2 hours to charge fully, providing 20 hours of use, quick charge of 10 minutes for up to 2 hours of use, and the charged case (not plugged in) can allow these amplifiers / aids to be used for up to 80 hours. These are pretty impressive given they are very affordable and nowhere near the thousands of dollars for prescription hearing aids. sThey also come with a cleaning tool, a tether, and instruction. At this point I don’t have the confidence to wear them in “active” situations given the fit, however that may change with time and use. ... show more

    • My first attempt
Okay, so I'm not a senior, but I do have hearing loss. Since I never seem to find the time to go to an audiologist, I saw these and thought I'd try them. Easy charge, not bad fit in my ears, and easy to use. It's nice to tap on the bud and be able to change the volume - 5 different settings. They magnify quite loudly at the highest level. I did have some challenges with these. When riding in my truck, the noise from the wind would cancel out my music. Sometimes it didn't seem as if it was amplifying or cancelling the right things. What was weird that, at work, when I would walk into the kitchens or the bathrooms, they would start squealing, and would stop as soon as I walked out. Never did figure that one out. They charge fast and have great battery life. I wouldn't recommend as a long term solution, but it helps when I need a little boost. ... show more

These are really neat hearing aids as like look just like earphones so if you have them in no one would even know they are hearing aids unless you were to tell them. I also like they come with the easy rechargeable storage container.
