We are so happy with the purchase of this pedal operated go-cart! Our 6 year old is thrilled! The look on his face as he gleefully rides is priceless! It was fairly quick and easy to assemble and it is a sturdy pedal go cart. The wheels are made well and the hand brake performs well and was a natural for him to use. The low center of gravity creates great balance as well. Unlike battery power driven go carts, you are not limited in play time and the speed is dictated by the power and energy of the child. It provides wonderful exercise and helps with coordination and judgement - they need to use these skills as they learn to safely and “drive” the vehicle. But best of all, it is Great Fun for kids! Not sure that a 3 year old would be coordinated enough or tall enough to effectively ride this particular go-cart. The child’s legs need to reach the pedals and they need to have the strength and coordination to steer and pedal and use the hand brake effectively. We would recommend ages 4 to 8, but depending on the individual child, that age range could be stretched upwards. Again look at the manufacturer’s suggestions regarding weight limit etc. After searching for a Ride-On for this in-between age group -we felt this go-cart was the perfect choice! My boy was so excited when we gave him this as his gift for his 6th birthday! Dad put it together alone super quick (he did mention there’s no written instructions just pictures, but he didn’t run into any problems). I was very pleased with how quickly it arrive and how durable it is so far! An adult well over 150 lbs rode it with no problem. Should be noted that it does NOT do well on grass. It was easy enough for the adult but for my 6 yo, forget it. I don’t deduct any stars because of how much my son loves it. It gets him outside everyday and he easily pushes it through our lawn and rides it easily to our neighborhood tennis court. ... show more

My 7 year old daughter loves the Pedal Go Kart, uses it in a daily basis. Great for exercise. It took 40 minutes to assemble since the instructions aren't very clear. The frame is very sturdy and I think it will last a good while. My 3 year old wants to use it but it's too big for him. We leave ours outside but put it under the shade while not in use. ... show more

My nephew loved it. He's a tall boy, and I was worried it would be too small, but it has enough room for a 7 yr old. The tires aren't fully rubber, and have some rubber pieces attached which help with real road grip. It goes as fast as the kid pedals, and the frame is made out of metal, it's great!! I know it will last a long time. Also, my nephew thinks it looks so cool, and he can't wait for break time from in-home school to get on his pedal car. :) ... show more

So much fun. No need to wait for a battery to charge like the electric cars. Nicely built and good quality metal. Gave it four stars because of the brake. Wish it was a bit stronger but my children got used to it and manage to stop in time. Loving the bike!

My son's best friend and his brother each have one, they let my son ride their and he was hooked. I think I'm going to have to buy replacement tires as he uses this toy every day for hours! Absolutely worth the money for the joy on my sons' face. Easy to assemble, well packaged to prevent damage. I do wish the decals/stickers were put on with a bit more care, quite a few bubbles to smooth out. Definitely would buy again! Need one for Dad...me! ... show more

Once my grandson sat in the seat it was off to the races! The cart is sturdy, light and very kid friendly. He rides it every day down sidewalks and driveways and we take it along on vacations. The one drawback is the front plastic 'casing' over the steering column is rather light and can slip to the side. The break works but supervision is recommended on steeper slopes with small 'landing areas' at the base. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Love it! It was easy to assemble and should last for years. The seat can be adjusted as they grow and no batteries, the kids can fly under their own power. We've had the Nerf version for smaller kids for years.
