I've been using it for a year, and it still works just fine. There's a weird, very small clanking noise now, but function is unaffected. For guys who want a stubble look, the rather wide range of increments without the attachements (0.5 to 2.5 mm) is useful. Works well and as intended. Comes with a nice assortment of attachments. It's missing a close shaver, which is what I was looking for, but that's on me for overlooking it not them as it is not included. The extra battery and charger is a nice touch. Has a good weight to it and feels professional.

I love the style, design and power, and when paired with the right clipping attachment is an incredible trimming machine. I use it without attachments to pre-shave my entire head and with the 2mm trimming clip to trim my beard and mustache. It charges up in no time and cleans up under running water. The included brush with small oil bottle is perfect to keep the blades clean and lubricated for cutting. I do not use the base but store in the drawer next to my sink. Battery life is incredible and there’s two of them (rarely need to charge. Had my first one for years and never had an issue. Just got a new one and it’s great as well. (Only purchased new one because I lost the other)

I purchased the original version of this model. It used to come with 2 batteries which was great, I wish it were easier to buy more batteries because otherwise it lasts several years. The overall value in this set is amazing. I am both picky, and frugal and it just makes more sense to me to cut my own hair. I have bought several other clipper sets from the major brands in the space, even another model from Hatteker. What I really like about this model is the design of the guards. They’re very minimal and that allows me to keep a close eye on the exact location that I’m cutting. I can’t get a precise cut and fade with any other set, this one just does it for me. ... show more
