I was tired of spending $40 and 2-3 hours of my time between the drive, wait time, and actual haircut every 2 weeks just to get a mediocre haircut so I decided to spend $500 on a nice hair cutting setup so I could just give myself mediocre cuts at home. I’ve been cutting my hair every 7-10 days at home (definitely getting better at it each time), and the setup will have paid for itself in less than a year. This detailer performs great alongside my Wahl magic clippers and electric razor and is great for trimming up my beard, eyebrows, and neck. I can easily get a few cuts and a few weekly beard touch ups out of this tool without recharging it, but I have to charge the clippers (which I use for 80% of the cut) after each cut or they’ll normally die towards the end of the next one. Coming from using a $40 Wahl corded clipper set with plastic guards, my new gear makes for a much better experience and cut. I watched the video the guy posted here, and that was enough to sell me. I needed a new trimmer for the Europe tour. This is the best trimmer I have ever used. Super powerful. Feels awesome in your hand because it has a good weight. It’s total pro. I’ve had it for a month and the battery just ran out of juice today. A month!!! I charged it in 45 minutes, and now I get another month. I am sending one as a gift to my friend Kip Winger haha! It’s a really, really excellent product. Worth every penny ... show more

I got this shaver to get as close to a shave as possible without shaving my head. It very much delivered. It's very strong and cuts easily and closely. The deciding factor for me was that it shaves as closely as anything I've used and it's also small, light and rechargeable. I charged it up before a trip and left it off the charger for 3 weeks and it still cuts exactly the same and could have gone longer. The only slight knock I would have on it is that the shape is not very ergonomic. While it fits easily in your hand there's no grips or form to make it easier to hold. But because it is so compact and light I can easily carry it while traveling and don't even need to bring the charger. Outside of that, highly recommend. ... show more

The trimmer works great. It has a good batter life and cuts close. I wish it came with a #2 guard. If that was included, this would be the perfect trimmer.

I have to say I’m a professional hair stylist I bien doing hair for over 20 years and yes wahl are one of thes on the market I have my peanut trimers by wahl for about 12 years and still working but I dicede to buy this one because it is more comfortable to work with and also it is cordless so much better but yes you won’t get desapoint on this tool love so much thank you to wahl to make professional tools for professional hair styles ... show more

    • Cuts very close and battery is long lasting
I’ve owned it about two months and used it about 8 times. It cut fairly close out of the box however I did adjust it to the lowest setting using the provided tool. The instructions for adjusting the blade were complicated and confusing but I did end up with a very close cut when finished. Almost too close, you can get razor burn on sensitive skin. I use it mostly for shaving my head and lining up my face and it’s great however a little to much for my neck. ... show more
