Absolutely love this tent! We used pallets and cedar wood to make a level area for it then also made a deck in front of it! We fit a bunk bed in it for my husband and I and so our daughter can sleep in there with us! We have a smaller fireplace for it and it works for the summer but during the winter we will need a bigger fireplace so we don’t have to wake every 2 hours to stoke it! We have used this tent for three months in strong wind, the tent is sturdy if properly tied down, make sure to finish set up all the way through at one time, do not let tent stand without trying down…. If wind comes it will lift and roll tent if not tied down well. This tent is quality, it has held up well and is roomy. Set up takes two people and a couple hours….. directions are not great so be prepared to use your thinking cap…. Once you have all the pole organized and laid out the rest is just labor. The media could not be loaded. The instructions were terrible and the tent was very heavy and required multiple people to set up. The tent poles needed to be filed and out/deburred to be able to assemble them. The zippers for the front entryway were backwards and needed to be taken off and reinstalled correctly. After setup was complete we had a light rain and the skylight immediately started to leak. There was additional pools of water around inside edges of the tent which I could not locate the source of water. ... show more
