    • Toddler LOVES playing with this pan. Auto off prevents excessive battery wear.
The toddler loves playing with this. I can easily make additional food disks using felt. The food does have to be lightweight and cover most of the pan bottom to work well with the pan, but two layers of felt is light enough to work. I don't know how well it would hold up to water exposure, and I did have to take it out of the play house due to our toddler's obsession with using real water. My 19-month old son loves this. We have a full pretend kitchen set from Pottery Barn that a friend gave us second hand. My son likes it, but it is so large we have to keep it in his play room. I wanted something that was small enough to keep nearby when we are cooking in the kitchen--and my son loves this better than the full kitchen. He loves turning it on and off. 17 month old wants to help cook and we keep this on the counter and he cooks too. Super cute. There is a fan function that shuts off automatically to not waste batteries. It blows air on the fake food and makes it easy to flip. Love it!
