I purchased these to use as assistance bands for pull ups. I wanted some larger capacity bands to use and selected these based upon the reviews. These were priced as a good value and came packaged well and easy to use. I am perfectly satisfied with these bands and while there is nothing incredible about them there is also nothing bad about them. They are good, fairly priced resistance bands. RECOMMENDATION: If you are looking to get bands for assistance I would go with higher weight bands and if you are looking for resistance I would go with the lower weight bands. Also, a set like these are more versatile that purchasing one or two individual bands. ... show more

I just received mine. I went through reviews on dozens of different bands on Amazon before I chose these. No matter how well-rated the best of the other bands were, there were always 1-5% who complained about issues due to poor process control (brittleness, slickness, smell, weakness, etc...). I got lucky. There are many reviews of other bands that describe "stiffness", "hardness", detail tears and brittleness, complain about the lack of elasticity/recovery, objectional smells, "melting", slickness, powder residue, etc... These bands have none of those negative attributes. They are soft and pliable, they have no surface defects, they exhibit only a very mild odor which can't be smelled from more than 1-2' away (and will no doubt diminish over time), they stretch to 3X their length before "hitting the wall", they recover immediately after repeated stretching, the claimed resistance specs. seem reasonable. Only time will tell how durable they will be. For standard tube-type bands I only use Bodylastics, it looks like I've found comparable quality in a flat band. ... show more

By far the worst bands I’ve ever used. No resistance until the bands are fully stretched. Blue band has the same resistance as the skinniest band. Basically paid for a small carry bag. These will go straight to the trash.
