I purchased these to use as assistance bands for pull ups. I wanted some larger capacity bands to use and selected these based upon the reviews. These were priced as a good value and came packaged well and easy to use. I am perfectly satisfied with these bands and while there is nothing incredible about them there is also nothing bad about them. They are good, fairly priced resistance bands. RECOMMENDATION: If you are looking to get bands for assistance I would go with higher weight bands and if you are looking for resistance I would go with the lower weight bands. I’m 40. And I just decided I wanted to do 10 pull ups straight as a goal. I can’t do one! My shoulders are tight, underdeveloped, and I’m overweight to boot. My wife and I started working out and are progressing well. These band def gave me the proper pull movement I needed as well as a boost to get started. I used the thickest band first—at 2 or 3 reps and I’d have to take a break!!!! My goal was 30 a day, 3 times a week. Then I’d up it to 4 reps, 8 times till I get to 30. The following week 5 reps, week after 6, you get what I’m saying. A little over a month I got all the way to 10 reps in one shot. So now I bumped down a band and started the process, this time I was able to push out 6 reps, so I’ll start there. I’m just saying, I couldn’t do a singe pull up. I didn’t have the muscle or form or anything to even start. These bands helped me for sure. Eventually, I’ll just do them without the bands. So yea, my take ... show more

    • Not Very Elastic Not Consistent On Stretchiness

I've used a lot of resistance bands in the past working in Gyms, all made in the USA, these HAPBEAR are Made In China, these are not good bands or a least the set I received. they didn't have a good consistent stretch to them, you pulled/stretch them apart and the retraction felt weird, kind of hard to describe, but the consistency on the stretch was off, almost like they didn't want to stretch back to regular size, so I would think these would be stretched out in no time and have no elastic bounce back in time, so I returned them, like I said, maybe a bad batch or its the material these are made out of, if you've never used good quality USA bands you might not know what you're missing. I would recommend spending a little more 20-40 dollars to get quality USA made bands from a company that is focused on quality over profit. ... show more
