Our only issue is the bottom flip draw does not seemed to work correctly -it scrapes on one size. I do wish it was about an inch wider/deeper so that the shoes would fit a less snug. I found a similar item at a big store but they were sold out so I started watching Amazon for an alternate. I found this one and waited until it was a similar price. The box was delayed because of switching from usps to ups. When it arrived it looked a little rough but all the parts were there and un-damaged. The instructions had only pictures. That’s fine but there were a couple of places that could benefit from a “note”. The shelf install was one. It didn’t appear to have a right or wrong way until several steps later when I realized I couldn’t slide the back into the shelf. This meant I had to take it apart in a few places to turn the shelf around. When trying to put it in the correct way, one of the dowels became dislodged and caused a hole in the side of the shelf. Finally, you can see in the pictures that the bottom drawer didn’t sit correctly when it was in the closed position. I remedied this by adding a small metal stop inside the edge of the shelf. This could clearly be prevented easily in the design. All in all, it will do the job but a little extra effort from the manufacturer would have made it a much better value. And it would have saved my pretty cabinet from having a defect in day one. ... show more

I liked this piece because the wooden parts are wood. But the assembly....oooof. And this comes from a person who is very comfortable putting together furniture. Following their directions will really only work with 2 people, so save yourself a headache and have someone help. Works how it’s supposed to but the white knobs inside that it used to prevent the cabinet from going in, falls of easily. Had to use a hammer to ensure it was in properly. Some of the wood was labeled with the wrong numbers as well

This would have been perfect if it didn’t already come scratched up in multiple places. And the way it comes you can only install it one way so I wasn’t able to turn the piece around and hide it. It is doable with one person, but I would highly recommend having two people put it together. I wanted to add onto my review now that I’m actually using it. You HAVE to secure it to the wall. I didn’t at first and tried to open the drawer and the thing is so front heavy, it fell over. It is also extremely fragile. If you pull on the second or third drawer, too fast, the pieces holding the drawer break off, and the entire drawer can fall out. The top drawer does not slide well and gets stuck a lot. Overall the pictures are accurate, looks good and fits well in an entry way. Assembly is easy UNTIL attaching the mechanism that allows the drawers to swing in and out. Those parts did not work no matter what, the screws are too short. I had to use screws I had and attach from the outside in and use an anchor on the inside to attach.
