Assembly was as expected. It’s sturdy but the top drawer sometimes gets stuck. I didn’t love the knobs it came with but easily replaced them out for a different style. Overall a great addition to our hallway and would recommend.

Overall the pictures are accurate, looks good and fits well in an entry way. Assembly is easy UNTIL attaching the mechanism that allows the drawers to swing in and out. Those parts did not work no matter what, the screws are too short. I had to use screws I had and attach from the outside in and use an anchor on the inside to attach. Got this cabinet for a storage for a small bedroom. It’s narrow so fit perfectly and looks nice. It has lots of storage and can’t be used to store other stuff and not just shoes. I love that it has an open shelves so I can add decorations to elevate the look. Recommend. One con is that during assembly two parts were missing. There was no way to contact the seller and the cabinet was pretty much put together. My hubs is handy so that helped a lot. ... show more

I rarely post reviews, but rely on them when purchasing products, so I really feel the need to save someone their time and money. I loved the look of this shoe rack, and was very excited about it! It was very tedious to put together, directions were followed, and yet the last few pieces just made the piece fall apart. The hardware for the drawer does not stay in, and even when the shoe rack is mounted to the wall, the drawer still did not slide easily. The last panel came with a whole column of stripped screw holes, and the screws obviously did not hold. We tried to fix with wood glue, but when we put the door back on it fell right off and cracked another piece. Not only is it now impossible to get an Amazon Associate on the phone or their live chat, but you are also unable to get replacement parts, and you must return it in its original packaging… which now requires me to take apart something that took dang near 2 hours to put together. Someone please save yourself the hours, annoyance, and headache this caused! ... show more

This is so cheap...you have to be so careful putting this thing together so it doesn't break...mine did. You can store flats with the dividers in, but regular shoes are too big. Wouldn't recommend anybody buy this.

This would have been perfect if it didn’t already come scratched up in multiple places. And the way it comes you can only install it one way so I wasn’t able to turn the piece around and hide it. It is doable with one person, but I would highly recommend having two people put it together. I wanted to add onto my review now that I’m actually using it. You HAVE to secure it to the wall. I didn’t at first and tried to open the drawer and the thing is so front heavy, it fell over. It is also extremely fragile. If you pull on the second or third drawer, too fast, the pieces holding the drawer break off, and the entire drawer can fall out. The top drawer does not slide well and gets stuck a lot. I would return it but I already built everything so there’s no going back now. ... show more
