As it turned out this was my grandson's favorite Xmas gift. Per parental wishes my high tech, grandson had no video games. This is colorful, active, and pretty harmless. It can be large when connected to a TV, but it run on batteries and has a small screen enough to be easily taken along on trips in the car. I felt the cost was fair. Our 6 yr old grandson loves this! It has so many games from playing pool to spaceship games. He did not put it down after he opened it. Our daughters 18 yr old boyfriend even liked it! It is a neat little handheld game player! It is good for any age!
