Well what started off as a calm down corner, a bit unrealistic and difficult to manage it if you don’t have a full separate space. So now it is on our homeschool desk where they can go sit with a squishy toy and these to choose one at a time to look at. The children have used them as pretend smoothies and milkshakes lol so it has seen some rough play. That also includes it being dragged along by a crawling one year old. I've had these for 3.5 years. I have five kids. They've been dropped, chewed on, thrown, and forgotten on the car in both extreme heat and cold. I cannot tell you how sturdy these are. None have broken or even been scratched. These are mesmerizing. I haven't met a child who doesn't love them, and I can't remember having any adults who weren't equally intrigued. These are really cool. I'm currently in college and I'll bring one out sometimes while I'm doing homework or studying just to keep me company. They are all unique. I think I do have a favorite though. It's the upside-down hourglass. The other three are one where you pump these little gel beads through holes via a button, one with gold glitter and tiny rainbow discs that float to the bottom each time you turn it, and one that has a spiral train-like thing that goes up and down when turning it. ... show more

These things are so fun to play with and just keep me entertained. I think they help with anxiety a little bit because i felt a little more calm while using them. My son was the person that i bought this for and he’s severely disabled so he wouldn’t touch it. But me and my daughter love them.
