I've only used it on wood, so far, as I haven't had it long_ Worked like a champ_ Nice looking tool also_ This tool missed a 5☆ Rating from me because......Mine didn't come with a backing pad so I made a run to the Hardware store to pick one up_ I feel it should have came with one_ A hardshell plastic case would've been nice too, and the Spanner Wrench was crap, IMO, so I ordered another one from Amazon_ I guess to keep cost low & competitive they cut out a good 'Kit' pkg, but the tool itself is great ... show more

    • Nice grinder for a low cost
I wanted to get a 4" angle grinder, but not spend a lot of money. With decent reviews, I decided to give them a go. I am not using these hard or for a long time when I do, so I can't comment on longevity or how hot they get, etc., but to have a grinder on hand when the need arises, they work great. I specifically got them to grind welds, and was happy with how it worked. A nice touch is the wrench to secure the wheels stores in the handle, so there is less of a chance that it goes missing. ... show more

    • Breaks fast
I received this and within a week the drive gear stripped and it started making a high pitched sound whenever it slipped. That only got louder and more frequent till it couldn't even start since torque to get it moving was too much for the cheap gear to handle. I held on to it yo take it apart to figure out exactly where this failed and it's the drive gear that meets head gear. Looks like pinion perpendicular drive gear. But I don't know what these are made of but they are not durable in any way. ... show more
