I purchased this for a 4 year old. She really liked it and we had fun playing with it. I would say for a child a bit older this could get boring very quickly. Maybe between 3 to 4 years old is my opinion with an adult playing or supervising, the reason is, kids love to put things in their mouths and this toy has smaller pieces and thin pieces. I would still recommend buying this but for toddlers you will need to monitor them while they play and put it out of reach when not playing. We use this in head start and the kids all love it so I bought one for my grandsons. BUY EXTRA FISH AND RODS! They break if you look at them cross-eyes! Again, the quality in kids’ toys and games is so fragile they will barely last until they’ve outgrown them and they definitely will not be passing them onto their kids! ... show more
