I hardly ever write reviews, but I just need to rave about this brush. It has completely transformed my hair routine. It heats up within seconds so there’s no plugging it in and waiting forever. And one slow brush through each section of hair is all it takes for it to come out perfectly smooth, it only takes a couple minutes and turns out better than when I spent a lot longer with straightening irons or blowing it out. The temperature locks so it doesn’t matter if I accidentally bump into buttons (I’m not sure if this is an issue for less clumsy people, but I’ve definitely had this problem with straighteners in the past). It’s really very idiot-proof, I never feel like I’m about to burn myself, it’s just easy with fantastic results. I use it on my hair, which is somewhat fine/limp with a slight wave. I’ve also used it on my daughter, who has much thicker hair (with kind of unruly wave pattern), and it worked just as well on her…just took a couple extra minutes because she has more hair! I seriously can’t recommend this enough, for years I’ve fought with my hair and most of the time ended up just putting it in a messy bun or something. To all who are reading. I purchased a hot brush like this that did not have the prongs on the brush like this one and it would not hold on to the hair. Finding this brush is much better than I expected and you can create a flip in your hair with it. I just wanted to get the frizzies out of my hair and use it for traveling too after being at the beach or pool all day! I’ve been checking out a similar product, with a higher price tag, for several weeks. After seeing the reviews and the price and reviews of this brush, I decided I’d try it. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. My hair pretty much does its own thing while I sleep and I either have to straighten it or pull it up everyday to look presentable. I hate straightening my hair everyday and the damage from using my iron so much. The day I got this brush, I plugged it in and tested it out. Things I like about it… 1. There’s a card telling suggested temperature you should use for your type of hair. 2. Heated up quickly. 3. You can lock the temp, so you’re not accidentally adjusting it. 4. Easy to use, you just brush it through your hair, just slower than with a regular brush. 5. No snags or pulling my hair. 6. It made my hair smooth and shiny. 7. Auto Shut off after an hour, in case you forget. 8. Took a lot less time straightening my hair, than if I’d used my flat iron. 9. The price! If there’s one thing that I’d have to say is a negative, it’s the weight. It’s a heavier than my flat iron, but it’s easy to handle and works so fast the weight is not an issue for me. ... show more
