I recently ordered the dragon playing cards. I was first enticed due to the black background and then the dragon art. Upon receiving, I wasn't as impressed. Even though these cards are standard size, they feel smaller in my hand. Maybe the thickness (or lack thereof) has something to do with it. I'm not sure, but that's how I feel. They are easy to shuffle and deal, again though, the thin-ness seems to make it more of a conscious effort to deal one card at a time. The art. I love the black background. Love it. I wish the high card dragon images were a little bigger to really see the detail or less bordering art . The lower cards are just kinda plain. Maybe if there were something else like swords or flames or something (like the bordering art on the high cards) to make them as special as the high cards. I'm satisfied with these enough to give 3 stars. They make a nice addition to any card collection. ... show more

I recently purchased a few decks of HAAKUN Playing Cards, and overall they are decent cards. The thickness and sheen of the cards are good, and they are indeed waterproof, which is a useful feature. However, I found the designs to be just okay. While the various magical creatures' themes are cute, I expected a bit more contrast and detail in the artwork. In other brands at a similar price point, you might find special inks, signature artists, or foiled embossing, which add to the overall appeal and value of the cards. I felt that these cards were lacking some of the extra touches that could have made them pop.
