Have been very impressed with these curtains. I have a huge window in my room and it gets hot on this end of the house in SWLA. I had to get a window unit for my room to help keep it cooler. These curtains have also helped keep some of the heat out. The street light at night is super bright and these curtains have helped make my room darker. The pictures make it look brighter at the top and bottom than it really shows. I like having some light when napping. Not a complete black out, but works perfect. Has helped a lot. I just got my second curtains for my larger window! I can’t believe how beautiful and expensive they look!!! They are also a really good fair price! I purchased sizes: 52”W x 84”L and 52”W x 63”L in the Natural color 2 panels each so a total of 4 panels. I did have to iron them, but very easy to do and didn’t take too long. I may have to re-iron the first ones. Since my second purchase for my larger window came out looking better than the first once I iron a week earlier. Great blackout curtains perfect for how bright it can get at night now it’s completely dark!! Very will made and very good quality as well. As far as the noise reduction I haven’t noticed yet but I do live in a very loud city where cars trucks motorcycles and buses pass constantly as well as airplanes. I do hope it does help a little (fingers crossed) but I mainly purchased them to blockout the street light which it does, so I’m happy! The only small down side I have was that they are more of a beige color almost the exact color of my walls, I thought they were more of a cafe light brown color. Regardless I love them very much thank you for making such great and effective curtains. Very happy customer 😁 Btw -I added some pics in the day time when opened and when closed to show how dark it can get. The ones w/the lights on my wall they were taken almost at sunset but it is still super dark can’t wait until to night when it’s pitch black. ... show more

These drapes are the perfect answer to my light blocking dilemma!! Quality is excellent and they block light perfectly. Also, they were a tad creased/wrinkled BUT after a few days of being hung up the wrinkles are disappearing. I could lightly iron them but I’m lazy. Great product! Uodate. Mine had some stubborn fold creases So I decided to try and iron them out on low heat. Bad move. The vinyl is thinner than some others so it seems like the best did remove the creases but there are now what I would call waves in the vinyl so that it will no longer hang properly. I have not experienced this with other backdrops. Probably my own fault, ordered a replacement but may have to just try hanging it out in the sun to remove fold creases. Original review. Like many of us, I am increasingly doing video conferencing from home. My home office is in my unfinished basement so needed something to create amore professional background. Greenscreen would be nice but reauires a lot of effort and lighting to look good, without judders, etc. I thus decided to give this a shot. My first impression on setting it up was, "meh, looks kind of fake". At the larger size the resolution is good but not great, it looked kind of flat and the chair and plant looked too washed out compared to rest of background. But wait, it gets better. First thing I did was placed some real furniture in front of the plant and chair. That in itself made a huge difference. I also put a light (used an led shop light) at a down angle on the backdrop. Finally, I spent another $35 dollars on curtains from Amazon and hung the off a pipe on the ceiling. The curtains are also nice in that I can close them at night since daylight pouring through the window at 10pm would be a bit odd! I am now pretty happy with the setup and the background works really nicely. I have had several people on the other end of calls make positive comment on my "office". I am also using a ring light facing myself from front. Picture shown is pretty low resolution but should give you a good idea. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Love; color matches perfectly to our theme perfectly. Curtains are thick but light weight. Great quality. Blocks ALL the light and keeps the room cool too! Makes for an easy installation with the metal eyelets. This is my second time ordering these blackout curtains.

After a couple of years of hanging I have seen a pin hole here or there. But that is pretty good. I did try to wash a few pairs on delicate with cold water with mixed results. One pair just stuck together and when I tried to separate them the lining pulled off. So the would look the same from the front, but let light through the back. Since there were dusty from hanging for years I just filled my bathtub and swished them around for a few minutes and gently spread them on the shower rod. I put some towels on the floor and blew a fan on them. You can rehang them damp. I never did get the packing wrinkles out. I did iron the first few pairs, but just sort of gave up when many wrinkles remained even after ironing.. I am using them for their function. But if that stuff bugs you, be warned. ... show more
