I was a little skeptical ordering this item from Amazon as I couldn’t gauge the quality or size. Came a day later than expected but still in time for the weekend project. As you can see from the picture we used this to stretch some farm fencing and left the end of the fencing rolled to give us more strength to pull with. It worked great! Most commercial installers use a longer one, it would work better, in my opinion if it were at least 4 to 6” longer but it still does the job pretty darn well. I would still recommend and if it had been a bit longer I would have given it 5 stars.

It works but not the normal spacing for Chain link. Only 3 of the barbs will grab the fence in the right places but its enough to make it work.

Long term farmer here but never really mess with chain link fence. Huge tree fell and what would have been several hundred dollars for someone to come out, I patched it for 20% of the cost and it looks great. Couldn’t have done it without the stretcher. Very easy to use. Even for a rookie. Ours is 6’ fence. It was so easy I am installing 4’ chain link around a few pens now as I was alwas a little intimidated by chain link and used other fencing methods. ... show more
