    • Darn good monitor!
While initially i had some compatibility issues with older games, this is a really great entry level monitor for a little over $200. The high refresh rates and 2k resolution really shine in modern games like Devil May Cry 5, Doom Eternal and The Witcher 3, but in older games it might take some tinkering to make work and you won’t be able to make use of the full 165 hz without glitches or the game not letting you play at all, like Sonic Generations. That’s likely just due to the fact that they weren’t designed for such high refresh rates and resolutions and not an issue with the monitor itself though. This monitor was below $300 so I can’t complain but i have seen better HDR effects and sharpening in other monitors. Playing older games or newer ones without the proper configuration look off and blown up to a certain extent so don’t over extend a games initial capabilities with this one. The screen is fairly good for the pricepoint it's at with even a bit of HDR function squeezed into it at a fairly respectable 27 inch size. My biggest gripe was realizing my desk-mount wouldn't fit properly because the display wasn't designed with 100x100 sized vesa mount screws being present. It simply doesn't fit on quite a few 100x100/75x75 vesa mounting schemes. Not quite sure why a screen of this heft is using a 75x75 setup when their lighter model is a 100x100 vesa. ... show more

    • I Took A Gamble And Won The Jackpot!!!
The media could not be loaded. Little bit of background info, I just moved into a new apartment, bought me a BEAUTIFUL L shaped desk (I love putting my desks in corners). My concern for my new monitor was that it wouldn't work with the elevated platform on the desk. I measured 5 times, looked at 20 different styles, still worried that whatever base either wouldn't fit on the platform or the monitor wouldn't project out far enough to be a decent size. Eventually I took the risk and got this one. Not only is it the perfect for my desk, the graphics are extraordinary. It didn't come with an HDMI cord, but being a gamer, I had plenty of extras. Monitor does have built in speakers that are strong enough to be audible but not idea for gaming and extended movies. High quality for a fair price. When I got this monitor I had a few doubts judging on the reviews but it was AMAZING I’ve never had a problem with it and I saw that that some people were complaining about the brightness I don’t have this issue at all 10/10 monitor great price and quality I highly recommend it!

I just set up my monitor today and I’m amazed. Not only does it run 1440p at 120hz on my Xbox but with the HDR enabled and right settings it looks incredible. I previously owned an asus monitor and it was great but I wasn’t getting the color or crispness I wanted out of it. If you are a gamer and are unsure about this monitor, DONT BE. A+ I will come back after a month to conclude my review. Edit:I’m back after a few months and have to say I’m still very happy with this monitor. The only con to this would be the fact that curved monitors are more likely to produce glares so, during the day, it can be a little nerve racking but, other than that this is still a great choice in my opinion. ... show more

(Original Review: My monitor (and this may be due to a bad cable, I have yet to test it.) Has several times were random pixels will flash on the screen. Other than that it seems like a good monitor.) Upon further inspection and trying different cords, it turns out that it was not the cord, but a port on the monitor was damaged. Luckily it has 2 ports and therefore was able to be fixed. 3 stars as it's a good monitor but disappointed that it came damaged. Edit 3: The monitor itself is flashing, tried 3 different ports, 2 different cords. Threw away the box and I can't ship it back. ... show more
