I've been looking at various air compressors for the tires on my tacoma recently and I was considering ARB, but was pretty turned off by the huge price... I know they probably have the best quality out of everyone, but I just didn't want to pay that price tag. I took a chance on this and I don't regret it. The bags kind cheap, the hose could be longer, but it's $60, what do you expect. I used the lighter socket and didn't have an issue, but if the fuse did blow, its an easy and cheap replacement; I'll take the risk rather than open up my hood. I'll also say that its not that loud, I think my truck in park is louder. TDLR: It's durable, inflates quick, cheap, quiet, and gets the job done. I'd say its a sweet deal. ... show more

TLDR - It's a good quality unit for the price and it'll get the job done better than most other similar products in an emergency. It's not intended for heavy use - just once in a blue moon when you're in a pinch. You can add a regulator and a tire chuck if you want. It's a great little emergency compressor to keep in your trunk. The quality could of course be better, but it's much better than similar products in this price range. It truly does achieve 150psi (which I had my doubts about before I tested it) and it took about 2 mins to inflate my SUV tire from 15psi to 32psi. It'll definitely do in a pinch. The air hose and surprisingly generous power cord should be long enough to reach all 4 tires from the driver's seat of any standard passenger vehicle. I recommend buying this with a small tire repair kit so you can truly fix a puncture on the road without having to call someone. It does come with a spare fuse for this unit, but you should also keep a spare car fuse if you power this compressor through the 12V cigarette lighter plug in case you happen to blow the one in your car. The tire hose attachment is screw on and the air pressure gage on my unit reports a pressure of about 5psi lower than the true value, which is slightly inconvenient, but also not a big deal in an emergency situation. This product does NOT come with a regulator of any sort, so it'll just keep pumping until it either burns out, the fuse blows, or you manually turn it off. On mine, I replaced the screw-on air fill adapter with a standard 1/4" dual tire chuck and installed an in-line regulator (both of which you can pick up for $25 at any home depot) for easy uniform tire inflation. I thought I'd written a review when I got this in 2020. I started with 35s and took about 5 min per tire to go from about 17 psi to 35. With the new 37s it took me about 7 minutes. I'm at 4600 feet (altitude) It's not quite as fast as arb, but it also 90% less expensive. The bonus is I can have it in my 4runner for anytime outings then grab and go in the bronco for the rare times I take that. I find it extremely easy to use, doesn't get even close to as hot as an arb, I can easily grab and go in any car rather than permanently mounted like a more expensive unit. I just bought a other one to give to mom. Her tires were low and this quickly and easily filled them. Her comment was that she's had the batter powered emergency pumps. They almost always are dead when you need them. She was impressed with this and how small it is. She asked for one for her bday...so I just ordered it and now writing a review. Amazing little pump especially for longevity and for the price, since I use it for huge tires and have put it through the paces for years. Oh, I also used on my 2001 superduty crew cab and the chord and air hose reached all tires fine. Would recommend ... show more

This pump hooked up to the battery itself which is awesome since e my car cig lighter doesn't work. It was powerful enough but after I started the car it had even more power. This thing pumped up my tire from 21 to 38 in no time. For a bit more I could have had the digital version but I am able to read a Guage no problem. I always have low tire issues in the winter so this will save me this winter and following winters. It's a total of 23ft reach so you don't have to struggle with it. Should have bought this years ago. Big sell for me was the jumper clamps to power off car battery. Worth it guys, it's heavy and sturdy and will last for years to come.
