  • Solid construction for the price, achieves high pressure and quick inflation
Color: Titanium
TLDR - It's a good quality unit for the price and it'll get the job done better than most other similar products in an emergency. It's not intended for heavy use - just once in a blue moon when you're in a pinch. You can add a regulator and a tire chuck if you want. It's a great little emergency compressor to keep in your trunk. The quality could of course be better, but it's much better than similar products in this price range. It truly does achieve 150psi (which I had my doubts about before I tested it) and it took about 2 mins to inflate my SUV tire from 15psi to 32psi. It'll definitely do in a pinch. The air hose and surprisingly generous power cord should be long enough to reach all 4 tires from the driver's seat of any standard passenger vehicle. I recommend buying this with a small tire repair kit so you can truly fix a puncture on the road without having to call someone. It does come with a spare fuse for this unit, but you should also keep a spare car fuse if you power this compressor through the 12V cigarette lighter plug in case you happen to blow the one in your car. The tire hose attachment is screw on and the air pressure gage on my unit reports a pressure of about 5psi lower than the true value, which is slightly inconvenient, but also not a big deal in an emergency situation. This product does NOT come with a regulator of any sort, so it'll just keep pumping until it either burns out, the fuse blows, or you manually turn it off. On mine, I replaced the screw-on air fill adapter with a standard 1/4" dual tire chuck and installed an in-line regulator (both of which you can pick up for $25 at any home depot) for easy uniform tire inflation. Overall, it seems to work pretty well and I'm happy with it for the price. ... show more

  • EXCELLENT PRODUCT
Color: Silver
I don't write reviews much. Excellent product, great price, pumps tire up fast, doesn't overheat, has the right accessories. A steal for the money.

  • Decent little compressor
Color: Red
This a very decent little compressor for the $$. I bought it to pump up a totally flat tire on my small p/u truck and the pump easily handled the job within minutes. The only downside is that there's no adapter to plug the unit into a standard wall outlet for pumping up other things around the house such as footballs, basketballs, air mattresses, etc. (unless of course you stand out in the driveway). The unit does include the adapters to pump up different items (balls, bike tires, etc.), but only works in an 'old school' vehicle cigarette lighter with the engine running or with the battery clamp adapters hooked directly to a car battery . ... show more

  • Works great
Color: Red
This little compressor works great. Aired up my flat tires no issue. Quiet for a portable compressor. It’s a little difficult to read the pressure gauge on the unit, so use a separate tire gauge to have accurate readings

  • Probably exactly what you need!
Color: Titanium
I've been looking at various air compressors for the tires on my tacoma recently and I was considering ARB, but was pretty turned off by the huge price... I know they probably have the best quality out of everyone, but I just didn't want to pay that price tag. I took a chance on this and I don't regret it. The bags kind cheap, the hose could be longer, but it's $60, what do you expect. I used the lighter socket and didn't have an issue, but if the fuse did blow, its an easy and cheap replacement; I'll take the risk rather than open up my hood. I'll also say that its not that loud, I think my truck in park is louder. TDLR: It's durable, inflates quick, cheap, quiet, and gets the job done. I'd say its a sweet deal. ... show more

  • Great little powerful pump
Color: Red
It's a great compact size for how well it pumps. Really nice carry bag with a long cord and an extension hose. It worked on my 23 foot camper. It's not really loud either. I'm pleased with this pump for the money.

  • Works "OK"
Color: Red
The compressor does its job. I have 265-65-18 tires and of course had a rock puncture the tread while off road and was able to test this compressor out. It works, and pumped it up to the 50psi I run my tires at. It took 4-5 minutes to pump the tire up from less than 15 psi after I was able to repair the puncture with a simple tire plug. The problem is the quality. First time I went to use this the negative battery clamp literally fell apart in my hand as soon as I squeezed it in order to open it wide enough to grab the neg battery terminal (side post w/8mm bolt). The pin that goes through the clamp to keep it together must not had been peened over. I had no option other than to cut the wire off and hold it to the battery terminal with a clamp from my jumper cables. This is a VERY inauspicious start to a BRAND NEW product. I'd contact the company to see about having the battery adapter replaced but don't know how. I also have a problem with the length of the power cable. With how long many trucks & SUVs are today you would think they'd provide AT LEAST enough cable to be able to reach all 4 tires without disconnecting the clamps & hooking on to a power supply in the fuse box and a block ground, again with jumper cables as the LOW QUALITY clamp disintegrated upon it's first ever use. IF the compressor wouldn't had fully inflated the tire as quickly as it di I'd be giving this 1-2 stars and returning it. One other good aspect of this is that the air pressure gauge on the compressor is actually accurate. I use a professional air pressure gauge with a large dial that measures @ 1/4lb increments up to 60 PSI and when the compressor read 50 PSI the tire had 50.5 lbs of air in it. Can't complain about an extra 1/2lb of air pressure at all. Most of these compressors require rechecking the pressure with an accurate gauge as they're all over the place accuracy wise. They seem to have done good on this aspect with this compressor. The last issue I have with this is the fact that it does not have an automatic shut-off when it hits the tire pressure setting you put in. This is the 4th 12 volt compressor I've ever purchased as I have 1 in every single vehicle I own along with a professional tire plug reamer, insertion tool, rope plugs w/ lube, razor blades, spare valve cores, valve core tool etc. I purchased this to replace one that died after at least 10-12 years of usage. I've been a professional, highly educated mechanic/tech, shop owner etc for over 30 years and my opinion is that the compressor is actually above average but the accessories leave much to be desired. Thankfully for me I had a pair of copper clamps on a shelf and soldered them to the wires with heavy duty marine grade shrink tubing over the soldered joint and a few inches further up the wire as that helps prevent the wire from breaking. I would like to know HOW to contact the company to see if I can get the clamp adapter replaced. It makes little sense to "go cheap" on critical parts that render the compressor useless without. I'm quite certain that a slightly higher grade of spring clamp couldn't cost all that much more, as in maybe $.50 cents/each. I know they won't be selling these with top quality copper spring clamps, but at least provide something durable with the tool. IF I was only reviewing the compressor it would get at least 4 stars. The accessories that the tool NEEDS are the weak link on this and in this instance way too weak. One last note: DO NOT use the cigarette adapter. It will blow a 10-15 amp fuse and although installing a 25 amp fuse will likely work and not blow, you have to understand that the factory wiring for that circuit is NOT heavy enough to withstand any continuous draw over and above the amperage the fuse from the factory was capable of withstanding. If the wiring overheats due to a larger fuse it is not much of a stretch to imagine the wiring overheating and possibly catching on fire. ... show more
