  • Nice tight bass
I have a ported 10" Boston Acoustics Powered Subwoofer that the original speaker's voice coil blew. I replaced it with this speaker and am very happy with it so far. I have an Onkyo 906 receiver that pushes it for music, TV broadcasts and movies. Nice tight bass. For the price I think it's quite good! ... show more

  • Nice replacement speaker for blown Onkyo subwoofer speaker.
Nice replacement speaker for blown Onkyo subwoofer speaker. More expensive than other providers that charge shipping but, same price as others with free Prime shipping.

  • Replaced blown Polk PSW10 speaker
Great value for a replacement subwoofer speaker. After peeling the foam off around the screw holes, it fits like the original speaker and sounds similar. Much better than replacing the whole subwoofer with cabinet.

  • Passes my test
Just installed today and love the sound from this low buck subwoofer. I install high end home audio but I have a budget. This is worth the price and performs like a more expensive subwoofer. I tested it using my own methods and found no downside to complain about. I was able to hear it smooth down to 30 hz. ... show more

  • Very Impressive subwoofer
I got the GRS-10SW-4 and I'm very impressed with sound quality and low end response. This is a great budget sub for home entertainment systems or DIY projects. I did my research before buying this subwoofer but was still sceptical about it for the price. My build is a cooler bluetooth stereo. Im not pushing the sub at max watts I'm actually probably only running a true 50w to it. You dont want to overpower this sub it will distort. This sub works better than I expected. Good frequency range and nice low end bass. ... show more

  • Excellent 10” Subwoofer
I used this 10” Subwoofer to repair and rehab a 2004 Paradigm PDR-10(100W) powered subwoofer. Just brought this sub back to life. Bass is excellent and I have not had any issues. It is just a tad bigger but perfectly fits in the PDR-10 cabinet. I’m very happy with this subwoofer. Highly recommend it. Hits the lows good and bass is very good as well. I do have a Klipsch R-10SW(150W) and a Klipsch R-12SW(200W) for comparison purposes. It hangs in there very good with these. ... show more

  • A direct drop-in replacement for your blown/rattling Paradigm PDR-10 subwoofer
Just don't do what I did and try to gain access to the woofer by removing the front grill. Becuase the front grill is NOT MEANT TO BE REMOVED. - Rather, remove the 12 wood screws from the rear panel - Lift out the rear panel. - Take a photo of, or make a paper note of the connections to the rear of the panel. - Disconnect the LED status light connector & subwoofer connectors. - Pull out the thick batting material. - Unscrew the 8 wood screws fastening the woofer to the inside. - Carefully remove and swap over the electrical connections. - Follow these steps in reverse - And... bob's your uncle! YOU JUST SAVED HUNDREDS :-D ... show more

  • Not bad for only 70 Watts
Its only 70 Watts didnt say how many Watts it was in the title so I had to look it up by model number. But over all not a bad speaker for a bedroom or livingroom stereo.
