  • fun game!
Color: Grouch Couch
This listing has Soggy Doggy and Grouch Couch. I have Soggy Doggy already, and the kids really love it. I am so glad I bought Grouch Couch! It's so fun and different. Super simple and fun game for little kids to do. Even my teenager likes playing it with my other son. The couch moves and makes sound every time you push the button. Coins shoot out of the couch and the items on the couch move around. At the end, it plays a song and then you count how many items you have. The game is fun and not complicated for little kids. It's not super exciting, but it's hard for me to find easy games for my son with disabilities. Just an fyi, there is a clear small strap around the couch. At first I thought the game didn't work, but I realized I had to take the strap off. I saw some reviews say it doesn't work - they probably didn't see the small, clear band wrapped around the couch to take off. I put all the little pieces in a ziploc bag. I store the coins in the couch. Really glad I bought this. ... show more

  • Very fun and easy game!
Color: Soggy Doggy
My daughter loves this game! She’s 4 and it was easy to learn. ONLY DOWN SIDE was I had to google the directions because both my instructions came in a different language rather than one in English and one in a different language. Honest mistake I’m sure.

  • Cute and easy to play, but loud when the dog shakes and the water spigot drenches just the head.
Color: Soggy Doggy
I'm not going to talk about how to play the game (typical board game with die, pieces, and four mercy chips that allow you not to go back to start). What I will write about is the overall effect. It's an adorable game, but the direction of the spigot mainly drenches the dog's head and not the body. It does shake some water off, but not as much as advertised. Also, when the dog shakes, its mechanism is somewhat loud. It intimidated my 4-year old grandson. He wouldn't let us activate the shaking dog unless he was in another room. Gradually, though, he overcame his initial fear (is very sensitive to loud noises) and saw the charm of the game. He was then able to play and enjoy the resulting spray of water. He's at an age where simple games intrigue him and I think this one will grow on him. Unfortunately, one should play it outside, or have a thick towel underneath the main unit. Instructions say to fill the 'bathtub' with water up to just under the rim, which - when the dog is activated to shake - spills out and gets all over. Towels are important, unless you play it outside. Overall, for the age group, this is a very cute game. ... show more

  • Couple flaws
Color: Soggy Doggy
Wasn’t too difficult to set up as there are only a few parts to piece together, doesn’t come with batteries which is to be expected now a days. The instructions are iffy, we were a little confused on what to do with the tokens/coins. Says to use the tokens as basically a space saver so you don’t have to go all the way to the beginning spot when the dog shakes but doesn’t really specify how you get them in the first place so we didn’t even use them. My 2.5 year old enjoyed it more than my 5.5 year old did. The tub dips down in the center and there’s no rim. The faucet barely sprays any water out onto the dog and either way the water just pours off the dogs ear onto the faucet handles rather than covering any part of the dogs body, this is probably the biggest flaw. Not really a big deal, just annoying but it’s a water game so expect a mess anyways. Lastly, once the dog starts shaking you have to manually shut it off or it will just continuously keep shaking, also another big flaw. It should shake for a few second and automatically shut off. Also, reminding my two young children to do clockwise or counterclockwise was a little frustrating too. All in all, it’s not a bad game just has some flaws and just wasn’t a good fit for my family. Will probably be returning if possible as I don’t ever seeing us playing it again. I see how some kids would love this and think the getting wet aspect from the shaking would be hilarious to them, my kids just don’t care for it! ... show more
