In all fairness, I just got this a couple days ago. But it seems fantastic. I looked at a lot of these on Amazon since they had a lot of aftermarket brands to choose from (and the Traeger-made one). This one fits well, the fabric looks to be high quality nylon, and the fact that it has a zipper and elastic drawstring, for me, made all the difference. It is easy on, easy off, and has a handle built-into the top to allow you to lift the cover off easily. Plus, as you can see by the pictures, it looks great. We have not had significant rain since purchasing, and I will update this review for waterproofness after I have given it a chance to repel some storms. So far, I could not be happier with the purchase though, especially at half the cost of the Traeger-made cover. ... show more

I bought my Traeger on 1/12/2012 at the Costco in Fullerton, CA. Finally needed a new cover and spent several hours trying to make sure to buy the correct size. Back and forth between Amazon & Traeger.com. I called Traeger and the rep gave me a product number that was the one for my smoker. I put the # into Traeger SEARCH and a cover showed up that was not one shown on their site. Rep told me that the one. Then I told rep that their site says it's been discontinued. He was surprised but then checked and it was not available. Then back to Amazon. I have to original sales material and my Traeger is Model BBQ07E, seems it's call the Lil' Tex. The outside dimension of the actual grill part is 24 inches. Traeger has a cover with "22" in the model number and it cost over $70. So I took a chance and bought this one on Amazon, know I could easily return it. It arrive on 12/29/23 and fit perfectly. It's so much better than the original one. Material seems more durable and it even has a zipper on the right side which makes it so much easier to put on. I'm so happy I took my time to investigate before my purchase and I feel like I bought the best cover AND it was about 1/2 price of the stupid Traeger cover. ... show more

This replacement cover for the Traeger 885 Ironwood is perfect. Easy on and easy off! The original cover that came with our Traeger was so difficult to put on and get off.
