I ordered this six piece set of drum hardware for our adult grandson. Before I found this set, I had been searching for the separate pieces looking for decent stuff that was reasonably priced. If I had bought the six pieces individually, they would have cost well over $350.00. This six piece set at $145.00 is a real bargain. The hardware is robust, definitely not shoddy cheap stuff. For the price and what it is I would say this exceeds my expectations and worth 5stars, but there’s still better hardware that is more expensive. You get what you pay for usually, I think this offers even a little more for something that usually costs 1/3 of your setup. I’m restoring a used beginner kit for the kiddos this Xmas and wanted to get all the hardware in one go. This package was a steal and some of the design is really well thought out. The boom stand has a counter weight that makes it balance really well. Everything is adjustable to the extent of my other more expensive hardware. The cost savings in negatively noticeable in some sharper thinner metal designs, and the legs won’t just slide easily, you gotta finagle them out of square here and there. Throne is pretty cheap and uncomfortable for an adult after a while. Pedals are something I am skeptical would survive hard usage. Some of the stands might be a bit wobbly if they’re getting bumped into. If you’re not gigging and looking for a place to start on a budget this is an excellent working solution that will let you upgrade piece by piece later. ... show more

Purchased a Griffin Popcorn Snare a few years ago, when I saw that Geek Stands carried Griffin and needed budget conscience stands for new set purchased for a Gospel group I checked reviews and they were top shelf. Especially the kick pedal. You can't go wrong.
