Bought this to help with the cooling in my sons room as our current HVAC just doesn't blow enough air into that corner of the house. Setup was a breeze with no modifications required. Please note that when installing the window insert, the panel they provide is very wide. You can adjust the pieces and shorten the width but you have to do this before installing the exhaust hose. As for performance, this unit quickly cools my sons room down to 66 degrees and is able to maintain the temp in that room comfortably. Overall, I like the flexibility this provides over a window unit as you can still maintain a lot of your natural light since this panel doesn't obstruct the entire window. ... show more

This item was shipped fast and boxed up well .. Simple to set up and get started. Perfect for cooling large areas or stuffy bedrooms .. I have watched the room temperature drop 5 or 6 degrees in an hour. Be prepared for a LOT of water drainage .. After several hours of use, this thing can fill a bucket. Very pleased so far .. My kid needed a humidifier to help with his flem from the dry cold air. We needed a sizable humidifier that can last a few nights without having to refill. This is a?great size and we can run it for several nights without having to refill it constantly. I also like how it has a knob to adjust the spray from the humidifier. The media could not be loaded. I am very happy about this humidifier for my home office. It’s fills the water from the top which makes filling water a lot easier. Because of this, this allows for more water volume. I would recommend it!

Loud and hums worse than another brand I have. Like the size, easy to install, sleep mode doesn’t = quieter. Does cool off the room but not as good as another one I have
