This week I together this steel shed and couldn't be happier with the experience. It was surprisingly easy to build and install, which was a big plus for me. The design is really smart and well thought-out, and the price was quite reasonable too. It took me about two days to assemble, though I did spend some extra time peeling off the thin plastic sheeting from the metal parts. Wish that was mentioned in the instructions, or even better sold without it. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, so I'm not sure why some reviews say otherwise. Maybe those folks were less experienced, but if you get someone to help, it goes really smoothly. I used the shed to house my pool pump and filter, and it's been perfect for that purpose. So the instructions say the shed takes about 2-3 hours with 2 people. The instructions lie. It took WAY longer to build because every single part is covered in a super thin plastic that needs to be peeled off. That is what took the longest. And you can't just peel off all of the plastic before beginning because the part number is on the plastic. When building the shed, you will look at the directions for WAY too long to figure out how the side top crossbars go. It won't make sense, even if you have a PhD in Ikea instructions. Most of the other parts of the instructions went well enough...except that part. When you read the instructions initially, it suggests using the gloves that come with them. The first 20 steps you'll get a false sense of security and won't need the gloves. Those stupid gloves will just get in the way.....UNTIL...you get to assembling the roof. Put on the gloves when you get to the roof. I cut my hands up just peeling the plastic film off of the roof peices because they are paper thin. There's so much blood on my shed now...just from the roof. Once built, the shed is pretty solid. I'm figuring out how to build a space to hang some tools now in a metal shed that you can't attach things to. ... show more

Took me about 5 hours to assemble just by myself. Side note the instructions can be confusing but if you have assembling skills you will be alright. However I found 2 leaks on the roof I will find out where it’s coming from and seal it. Planning on buying a second one a little smaller so I can keep my car detailing tools near the house. ... show more

Took me 4 hours alone with a drill and a step ladder (whoever is taking two days to assemble this needs to just hire someone). Sturdier than the reviews give it credit for. Pre-drilled holes lined up fine. Leave the plastic wrapping—too much work to remove. Wear the provided gloves because the sheet metal is sharp. Worth every penny of the $189 I spent. I've had to shed for 6 months and it's still not finished I can't do the holes my hands don't work properly and it should have been easy for one woman to put it up but if I can't drill the holes then it's not going to work the whole top rail in the back not one hole girl I tried to do it myself there's holes all over the place because I just don't really know what I'm doing I can put it together excellent instructions but no holes. I cheat her daughter back and forth between the two and a three because it's still sitting there 6 months later waiting to be put up the whole backside isn't there the roof isn't on it and it's still sitting there ... show more

1. This was not worth the money, in fact we would not buy this for $5 2. This is not sturdy at all. Be aware if you try to build this on a remotely windy day. 3. On that note, the pieces are SO flimsy it's not even funny. You even look at it wrong and it bends 4. This was not easy to assemble. Mostly because the instructions are trash and the pieces don't all fit together. Pieces had to be cut and they were put exactly where the instructions said to put them. Have at minimum 2 people for this project AND an entire day 5. The nails for this did NOT keep anything in place. Additional, longer nails of ours were required 6. The structure sucks. We were aware there was no bottom and got a bottom for it but it still leans. Bottom had to be reinforced. 7. The sizing is not at all how "big" it says it is. Your kidding yourself if you think you can get a work bench in there and a lawn mower with space to walk in 8. There is this annoying plastic film on every piece that makes this thing look even worse than it already does 9. It should be noted a ladder is required to put the roof on. But also be careful because if you fall or lose balance you will destroy the whole thing 10. This will not keep our stuff safe or dry. Keep plenty of bandaids on hand too. The pieces are so unbelievably thin that you will cut yourself. Be aware, you get what you pay for. Someone just kicks the wall or blows hard enough and they've got whatever valuables you've put inside. We do not recommend this shed and we are bummed. ... show more
