I used this fan to keep the temperature in my workshop at a constant level. The workshop is about 2/3 the size of a single garage, so not very large.     • Very Sturdy, Fast Heating, Great Setting Control
It heats up the tent very quickly and efficiently, and I can set the thermostat to the perfect temperature for my plants. The overheat protection feature is a great added bonus, and I'm also happy that it's waterproof so I don't have to worry about any damage if I get a bit too enthusiastic with the watering can. The yellow colour is also very pleasing to the eye and looks great in my tent.     • On the fence..
I got it up and running and started it up. Soon after, my breaker popped.. I was on a 20a breaker, with nothing else drawing current, so I am not sure what is going on. The same circuit powers my large 200 gallon compressor and other things at the same time, with ease. It fired up and took a minute or so before I felt any heat. Then only about 30 seconds after I got heat, is when the breaker popped. 1500w/120v=12.5amps. On a 20a circuit, it should not have thrown the breaker. I will check the draw on the circuit again with it off and see. If it happens again, I will know it is the heater. I will post back if I find something different. ... show more

    • Nice heater with great separate digital thermostat
This is almost the review of two products – the greenhouse heater with fan and the thermostatic controller, which can be used on that heater or elsewhere. Because we can’t dig our way through the snow into the greenhouse for two more months, we are testing out the heater as a bathroom heater. Our bathroom and greenhouse are about the same volume of space. The heater has done a good job warming and circulating the air. The heater does not have the tip-over protection, although it says it has an overheat turnoff. We’ve not overheated it to know if that is effective. It sits on rocker bars that would be best secured to the greenhouse floor. The thermostatic controller, which is not built into the heater, is really the lead singer of this duo. It keeps the temperature remarkably constant, with less than a 1.2-degree swing. We’ve also used it on a Redi heater in an unheated steel building, and it performed well there, too. While it will be weeks before we can say just how it works as a greenhouse heater, the paces through which we’ve put the heater and thermostatic controller give us every reason to think it will do great. With the opportunity, we’d give the heater a 4 star rating and the controller a 5, but will round up here. ... show more

    • Worse than worthless
Puts out very little heat. I fart more BTUs than this outputs in an hour. I haven't tried the thermostat, which is just a temperature controlled on/off switch because, if somehow this unit uses 1800 watts of electricity, it's not worth turning on.

    • Only missing more range
The media could not be loaded. This heater/fan is great for circulating or blowing air. I’ve only used it for its heating Purposes a couple of times and it worked pretty well. Even though it doesn’t have much range to adjust it, it’s great for blowing the fumes from my printer out of my window. I would give its quietness a 8/10 easily.
