We received this a few weeks ago and I was quite impressed with the graphics, the accuracy, and the speed of updates such as course corrections. Love that you can put in a vehicle type - we bought it to use with our motorhome. Gave it a good try over the weekend on trip just across the state line. To test is, I programed the Navruf GPS, and my wife put in the destination on her i-phone Apple Maps. Initially the time of arrival was about 20 minutes different on a 2 hour drive. Apple maps had us getting there sooner. The routes were identical. As we drove the GPS arrival time adjusted by a couple of minutes to an earlier arrival time, but the Apple maps just kept adding time. Turns out that when we arrived, the Navruf GPS initial prediction of arrival time was only a few minutes off, whereas Apple Maps was off by at least 20 minutes. I love that once you near your destination the GPS actually gives off the house numbers as you drive by. This is real bonus when it is so hard to actually read street addresses. Another feature I like is the automatic zoom in and zoom out. When on a limited access roadway, it zooms out to give the "big picture" view..... .only the information you need. As you near a destination, of turn off the highway on to local roads, the GPS automatically zooms in to give more detail, such as intersecting street names.     • It's a big screen.
I bought this navruf GPS Navigation, Built-In Voice-Controlled GPS Navigator with 9” screen to replace a smaller GPS Navigation that was about 3years old. All the features look and work similar to the old one so there wasn't much of a learning curve for me. The bigger screen makes this unit much more pleasant and easy to use. It is faster than the older one. It's also more intuitive and narrows down the possible choices and presents more options for the address or places as you are entering the information. It has a lot of choices for map layout so you can customize to your preference. Voice command is also better than the older unit, but not perfect. With the old one the more I used the voice feature the better it got, to a point. This one is better out of the box and it may get even better with use. It is easy to update the maps and firmware through wifi sitting in the driveway, and quicker at it than the older unit. I have found these dedicated GPS units to be much better than the factory entertainment/GPS systems when it comes to directing you, and giving you options for routes. You can also link it with the cell phone app and have instant traffic updates and options for avoiding congested areas. The price seems more than fair for a GPS with so many features. I like the GPS Navigation interface better than others I have used so it was a no brainer for me to buy it. ... show more

I love the GPS units as they are always up-to-date and bigger screens than our older ones!! Now we have one for our whole family of 4!!!!
